I was impressed with the cleanliness and the whole atmosphere of the Hospital. It was a bit confusing of where to find reception and picking up prescriptions. However compared to Southampton the treatment received was a lot more professional and less overwhelming.

I had a cycling accident in Lyndhurst and this was the closest hospital we could go to. The A&E staff was so lovely and friendly. I injured my knee pretty bad and I was in agony but these ladies made the experience more tolerable with their patience, wit and humour. They stitched me up and gave me anything else I needed for overnight and until I got to a bigger A&E. I hope I didn't forget anyone but I'd like to thank Jo, Susie, Becca, Caroline and Emma for helping me out that day. Brilliant nurses.

Just returned from having an endoscopy. The staff were lovely, cheerful, considerate and reassuring, and the ward was spotless. Apart from the procedure, (which wasn't that bad at all to be honest even without sedation), it wasn't such an unpleasant afternoon despite all the "build up to the appointment!

I had to attend for an X-ray and was booked for an ultrasound in three week’s time. I was early for my appointment, but shown straight into a changing cubicle. My X-ray was done in no time and then I was told I could have an ultrasound straight away to save me having to return later. I thought that was very considerate. All the staff were so helpful and friendly. One of them told me how much she loves working there, which speaks for itself. Lymington New Forest Hospital is an absolute gem! We are so lucky to have this facility, and everyone I speak to about it agrees!

Once again wonderful service, kind and caring staff.,its even better now than it was a few years ago . My friend ("partner") was seen to quickly,( after he fell on the ice , sustaining a hip fracture) as they were not quite so busy yesterday, though still busy . So much better than the large city hospitals at Bournemouth and Southampton. I am going to join the Friends of Lymington Hospital . They need support !

Broke some fingers and went down to the emergency care department where I received absolutely amazing and cheerful care. I was triaged by a kind and funny nurse, seen by a lovely paramedic, x-rayed by a knowledgeable and friendly radiographer and then finished off with the paramedic who went through my X-rays with me and splinted my fingers, giving me advice on how to manage my fractures. Thank you so much for being our wonderful local hospital!! We are so lucky to have you 😊
