This company is not interested at all in service or maintenance. First time I requested a service, they sent 2 apprentices round to watch the door go up/down, then say it's fine. 6 months later my door is broken, I've requested a repair/call back, heard nothing. Difficult company to get hold off. Unless you're buying a garage door, they're not interested in maintaining anything. Customer service is shocking. Be warned

We have recently had a new Hormann 42 mm fully insulated sectional door fitted to pour double garage. The order process, from the site visit, quotation to order was completed within 2-days. The door was delivered to Lymer from Hormann Germany within 4-weeks. The installation was completed most professionally by two friendly engineers in a day. Their foreman came to review a week later My wife and I would certainly recommend Lymer doors for garage doors

I would not recommend this company. Had 2 garage doors fitted, although happy with the quality of the doors it was not exactly as ordered, due to the error made by the surveyor. The error when questioned is brushed aside as not a Lymer Doors error, it is the customers. The communication is extremely poor, you constantly have to chase for updates, customer service is extremely poor. The garage doors were fitted months after the order was taken & deposit paid. Basic courteous services do not exist e.g keeping a customer updated on progress, this company needs to embark on serious training to enable a professional service to be provided. Lymer Doors products can be found from other suppliers, I would suggest you shop around & find an alternative to this company. I wish I had done more research on this company before placing my order. When reading Glass Door reviews (which was unfortunately after my poor experience with Lymer Doors) I can understand why a high number of customers experience such a poor service.
