We got married on 3rd March 2023 at the Winters Barns and had Lydia-Rae do my make-up along with my mums, my mum-in-laws, flower girls and bridesmaids. She was so patient with the kids (who literally either had mad ideas, or not a clue and also wouldn’t sit still) and was just amazing with everyone else. We all looked and felt like a million dollars!!! My make up trial was fantastic as well; I was introduced to the world of eyelash extensions and now I’m hooked!!! Lydia-Rae took the time to get to know me, which meant we came up with a fantastic look for the day and gave me the confidence to try something new (I wear the bare minimum make-up wise and have always had issues with my skin). So, if you are looking for a make-up artist who has years of experience and is amazing at what they do, contact Lydia-Rae you will not be disappointed!! I could not recommend her enough and will certainly be in contact should I have an event to go to, or just feel like looking great!!!

Lydia gave me a one to one make up lesson and it was brilliant. She really listened to what I wanted to get out of the time, what I do at the moment and how to build on that, both with the stuff I already have and new bits. We each did a side so I could really practice. She worked through a daytime look and then showed me how to build it up for night. She was also great at providing a follow up email with all the products and shades we had used so that I can recreate it at home. Would recommend to anyone, great to look nice for a special occasion but also ideas for everyday use! Service: Private makeup lessons

Lydia did the makeup for myself and my bridal party for my wedding. She is so talented as a MUA and also just a lovely person who is a joy to have around on the morning of your wedding! I had a trial with Lydia where she was great at listening to my concerns and needs for my makeup and then created a look I was so happy with that she recreated on the day. I wanted quite natural and light coverage for my foundation and this was something Lydia was able to do whilst still giving me that 'glow'. She knows how to keep the balance between enhancing your features but keeping you look like you! She also did a great job on my bridesmaids and mum on the day, including a bridesmaid who was very apprehensive about having her makeup done due to sensitive skin but Lydia worked with her concerns and put her at ease- they were all so pleased with the results. I cannot recommend Lydia enough! She did my bridal makeup, 4 bridesmaids and my mum on my big day! From the moment I had my trial I knew I'd have to get her for the day. She used the brands that I love and was so adaptable, nothing was too much trouble and she would tweak anything that I wasn't sure about. As someone that doesn't wear much makeup she made me feel really comfortable and most importantly beautiful on my day. Due to a few issues on the day when it came to getting my makeup done, time was tight, Lydia remained professional and un flustered which in turn made me feel at ease and she provided the exact makeup I had hoped for with less time than I had thought she would have. I cannot thank her enough! She was amazing in every way and a true delight to have share my wedding morning with!

Lydia is super talented and super lovely with it! On the day she was having to transform my whole wedding party all who had very different needs, from my mum who wanted the subtlest of looks to my daughter who wanted to feel pretty and me and my sister who needed a lot more! And she hit every look perfectly! I felt like a Hollywood movie star and couldn’t have asked for a better look to go with my hair or dress. As well as just being a genius at what she does, Lydia is so calm and made everyone feel special and relaxed and this was well needed on what was a hectic morning! Would highly recommend working with Lydia, you will not regret it!
