Wow!!! the most amazing useless and rude patronising staff, who don't have the initiative to put a sign on the out of order self help tills. The grey haired member of staff behind the counter is very patronising rude women i have ever had the misfortune of meeting, retirement ( sack) is a option and give her job to someone who can be bothered. Avoid this post office in W h smiths if I was you. Very very long queue, One person on tills obviously. This place is crying out for a mystery shopper from Post office to see what they expect customers to continually have to content with. Wish it was possible to put zero rating.

Then I'll join the camp of those who prefer to give 0 stars. One day the line was very long, my husband and I were standing in line. My husband had dental surgery, and the poor guy was white and dizzy next to me. After many requests, I got him to sit outside. I was left alone, and then a "man" with a penchant for remorse first stood next to me or in front of me. I told him I would be next (I would have let him anyway if my unwell husband hadn't been waiting outside), but he didn't care. This is where Ann came into the picture. She said that I had come from the self-service checkouts and jump the line. Which is an obvious lie! I am always honest, I take into account you who are waiting, since we are partners in fate. Nobody enjoys standing in line. Even though I told her that I didn't skip the line and waited a long time, he said that he wouldn't serve me. My mind took 5-6 people. What right do you have to allow this? (There were several people there who claimed that I did stand in line and that I did not avoid the line, however, he did not deal with it) I asked for her manager, but she ignored me, then like a stupid child, even though I asked her why he was doing this to me, he just kept silent. She was able to complete his work of about 30 seconds with great difficulty, but he refused to say hello or goodbye. Folks, I come from Hungary, where people are negative and complain all the time, but even there I have never experienced such bitterness as you can see on the face of this Royal Mail Batman (the judge). Dear Ann, if you don't like your job, that you have to deal with people, why don't you go to the slaughterhouse to clean the blood, or count beech shrews on a remote uninhabited island? And if you deal with people, you should have the insight that you can be wrong, and you should have empathy and understanding for others. Under the heading "Karen" I have your photo in the lexicon and I really hope that my family and friends won't let me be such an embittered incense like you. For travel: I would recommend a little meditation and self-examination, breathing therapy, if you are unable to do this, go back to the fairy tale from which you escaped, bad witch!

Waste of a journey from the other side of Luton during rush hour. On the website it says closing at 5.30pm. Arrive at 5.15pm for them to tell me they stop serving at 5pm. All the staff are interested in is rushing home. Had 5 other people having the same issue. Close whatever time you like just change the timings to avoid this problem in the future. Ann was the manager on the day.
