My wife and I have used Lunettes in Grantham for many, many years. I cannot put into words how good the care is here and I would strongly recommend this optician. Mr Pancholi is extremely thorough, always polite and chatty and explains everything very clearly. I recently had a problem with my left eye and Mr Pancholi squeezed me in, even though he was very busy. He examined my eye and quickly arranged a visit to Boston hospital for that afternoon. He phoned me later to check how I had got on. I needed some advice today but he wasn’t at the Grantham branch so I said I would visit tomorrow. However, he phoned me back 5 minutes later to discuss my needs. I am pretty sure you will not get this kind of service anywhere else in Grantham! Thank you so much.

Friendly service, recently took both of my children to get eye tests and the optician was so patient with them and explained every part of the examination. When it came to choosing frames even though they had technically closed, the staff all took the time to ensure my daughter was happy with her choice.

After a really awful experience elsewhere, I stormed into this opticians to request an appointment. I knew nothing about them before I walked in. The receptionists found an appointment incredibly soon and were so nice to me. They comforted me for hours even though they had nothing to do with my bad service elsewhere. i just had my initial appointment today. Honestly, it was the best optician experience in my entire life and I'm not even exaggerating. I usually find going to the opticians to be incredibly stressful and unpleasant (I'd prefer a root canal. Seriously). But this time round, I learnt so much and I actually found myself smiling during the appointment. More importantly, I had always been complaining that something was a little 'off' about my glasses for 30 years. Finally, for the first time, I was told that my eyes were 'inward' and I would need a 'prism' for my left eye. He showed me what it would look like and for the first time, I actually felt like I could see. If you ever watch those 3D movies but without the glasses, you'll see two different shapes of the film. That was my life (when I wore glasses) until I got to see through the lens I was shown. I hated wearing glasses before but I feel like I'm really going to love my new pair. Afterwards, they helped me pick a new pair of glasses. Honestly, I always struggle with this but they gave me honest advice (we even ended up laughing about one of the pairs that made me look like I had 3D eyebrows). Oh, and I almost forgot, for the first time in my life, I got to see the back of my eyes. I got to see every last bit of detail with explanation. And I got so much clear and honest advice on everything I wanted. Honestly, the best opticians I have ever been in. Even if I move somewhere impossibly far, I'll still travel down to see them for the rest of my life.
