We spent the first week in May in London, England and had a wonderful time. The weather was sunny and warm except for the day of King Charles’ Coronation which was wet and rainy. We hadn’t planned to be there for the Coronation, but it just happened to fall within our weeks’ vacation. We had a wonderful place to stay, The Luna Simone Hotel at 47/49 Belgrave Road, London. It is a 10-minute walk from the Victoria tube/bus/train station as well as 10 minutes the other way from Pimlico tube station. The hotel is a 39-room establishment which is owned and run by twin brothers, Peter and Bernard, who have been doing this for over 50 years. They are aided by Bernard’s son, Mark, and friend, Tony. Rooms are exceptionally clean and standard European size, but with full beds, desk, wardrobe, and bathroom complete with shower. An English breakfast is served by these folks every day and their cheery, friendly manner makes this a great way to start your day. A bus stop is literally right outside the door and provides easy access to Victoria station, but the bus itself will also take you to Westminster Abbey, The Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, Whitehall Street, Trafalgar Square, and the West End and back again. A wonderful location and certainly a place we would return to and recommend.

Rooms: Small. Safety: There is a sign about fake cops scams in the area around the hotel, so be careful. Walkability: Not for people with mobility issues are there isn't an elevator in this hotel

Nice area, historical home turned into a sweet hotel. Love that it is family owned, one brother even cooked our delicious English breakfast. Friendly, helpful staff, very nice room that was quite a trek up 90 steps after a long day. So glad it was April, before the heat sets in, the fan was perfect. We will return, but only in spring or fall as Im not a fan of the heat. Five Star all the way!! Walkability: Bus stop right across the street that made getting around and sight seeing very easy. Plenty of restaurants, pubs, and shopping within walking distance.

It's a lovely hotel - the staff go above and beyond, everyone was so friendly and helpful. The rooms were great, they were clean and comfortable and the location is just phenomenal as you're within 5 minutes of the local amenities and only a short walk to most of the tourist attractions which was great! I'd definitely recommend staying here.
