  I had LASEK corrective eye surgery at Lumivision on the 25th of February 2023. Assessment took place with Dr Jain a few weeks prior with my prescription and eligibility for both LASIK and LASEK confirmed. The risks and recovery times for both options were explained in detail and the decision left to me. I opted for LASEK due to the risks associated with the flap required for LASIK under the full understanding of the slightly longer recovery period. The actually surgery was quick and completely pain free, the following 12 hours completely as discussed with pain and discomfort however not too bad at all. The following day, a quick check up back at the surgery confirmed all as expected and then returned for the bandage contacts removal and a further check up a few days after. I’ve just had a check up around 10 weeks after surgery and everything is as planned. Vision is excellent and continues to improve which coming from life with a -3.00 prescription is an amazing feeling. Would highly recommend Lumivision and Dr Jain should you be considering eye correction surgery.

  I had lasak done and it's the best thing I ever did.. the service provided at lumivison is second to none. I did a lot of research on many big companies and when I called for advise I found them very rude and money driven. Which was putting me off having my eyes done. Then i came across lumivison. I researched the company, read reviews and then I called to talk about Lazer eye surgery they where so friendly and helpful. I then called back to book in for my free consultation with the receptionist but due to my working hours we found it hard to get slot. 30mins later I had a called from Mr Kantilal Jain ( the surgeon) himself and he worked around my hours to fit he in. WHAT A SERVICE BRILLIANT this gave me so much confidence in lumivison. You wouldn't have the surgeon calling you with big named companies.. LUMIVISION beats them all.. Now to the day of my surgery. As I mentioned I had Lasak recommended by Mr Jain as my eyes wouldn't of suited Lasek. (Plus he said Lasak is far better then Lasek as your get better results and the fact that if you need more work done you can where with Lasek you can't.) The op was I think about 14mins. Everything was professional. I was nervous as you can imagine. But they put me at ease. I didn't feel a thing during the op and when it was done I couldn't believe it i could see very hazzy but I could see ( before I was -5 to -6 and been wearing glasses for about 27 years) Before I left I was given a care pack and everything explained to me what to do. And if I had any worries or problems was told to call Mr Kantilal Jain anything I needed. Now after the surgery about 2hrs later yes the pain in my eyes felt like they where on fire for about 5hrs, I put my drops in and took paracetamol and ibuprofen and finally fell asleep. Next morning the pain eased off I felt little discomfort felt like the contact lens had moved however at my morning after check up Mr Kantilal Jain checked eyes and said everything is fine and put some extra comfort drops in my eyes which helped straight away. I then went home and for the first couple of days you feel discomfort just like you got a contact lens that has moved but the eye drops helped. You can see but it is hazzy for I would say 1 week. After 2nd week things are clearer but sometimes reading tv guide was still slightly blurry . After 3-4 weeks that goes and every week just watch the miracle work. Clearer clearer and clearer. I haven't had any night glares or anything. I followed the instructions with your eye drops to a tee. 12 weeks after my op I had a check up appointment to make sure everything is healing ok and check my vision where I was told I've got better than 20/20. Again after 3 months ( the other day) I had another checkup and everything is healing great no problems at all. I now have another appointment in November for a final check up. The after care is fantastic they look after you and all the appointments are free and Mr Kantilal Jain and he's team are top notch. I live in Worcester and the journey to Leicester was well worth it and I recommend anyone who considering eye Lazer to come here they ent money driven like all the big well know companies. They charge you for the treatment your having not what eye prescription you have. And the care from start to finish is brilliant.

  I had LASEK at the end of March and the next day I could see clearly - my recovery period was great, the support I got from the clinic with follow up appointments was amazing and overall it was a really great experience. I highly recommend LumiVision 🙌🏼

  In mid-December, I underwent laser vision correction using the LASEK method. My defect -3.25, -2.75 + astigmatism. It's been a few months and my eyesight is perfect 20/20. I can finally function without my glasses. Postoperative care at an amazing level. There were no downsides. Doctor Jain is a super nice, polite and very helpful man, he will explain everything to you. Lumivision is the best choice for those who are thinking about laser vision correction. I've been thinking for a long time and I don't regret it!! I am satisfied and recommend to everyone 5/5!

  I went to Lumivision after having a consultation at Optical express (who were ludicrously expensive, took 3 hours for a consultation, weren’t very friendly and were very pushy) and it was a completely different experience. The consultation is with Dr Jain (so nice to see the surgeon who will actually perform the laser eye surgery) and was far quicker, and friendlier. Oh and the price was half of that optical express had quoted! Dr Jain said I was suitable for LASIK or lasek and informed me of the pros and cons of both. He was not pushy in any way. Although he did recommend lasek, I went for LASIK due to the quicker recovery time. I booked in but then when home had a few more questions - Dr Jain phoned me and reassured me. On the day the surgery itself took around 10 minutes and whilst there was minor discomfort (for me the suction part was a little uncomfortable but it lasts for around 40 seconds) there was no pain at all. The nurses in the room were lovely and one in particular was speaking to me throughout (perhaps realising my nerves!) I’m now nearly 2 weeks post surgery and there has never been any pain. My eyesight is now 20-20. Dr Jain provides his mobile number if you have any problems (I didn’t). Overall the price, service and results are outstanding! Oh and his receptionist is lovely too!

  I had lasek eye surgery mid November and I could not be happier. I see perfectly without glasses and my aftercare was amazing. I am happy I found the clinic based on good reviews and will definitely recommend them to my friends and family. If you are thinking about eye surgery Lumivision is the place to go. They have a transparent price and no hidden costs like other high street clinics.

  I had the LASEK eye surgery done at Lumivision well over a year ago and wold definitely highly recommend this clinic. The process was very transparent from start to finish. The post-surgery care has been most excellent at all times and my vision is near enough perfect. Very good experience all around.

  Dr Jane has been absolutely incredible! I had mine done on the 25th of Feb 2023 , I'm less than a week after the surgery, and the results are absolutely incredible ! Come with confidence and be very concentrated on what Dr Jane will tell you because he will only tell you once what you have to do on the day, and you need to listen if you want a good result (you can ask if you didn't understand 😉). PS. Instead of looking at videos and creating a creepy idea on what is going on, I will recommend you to get just a little bit earlier and talk with the person that has done it before you as you will be able to walk on your own feet after the surgery 😉. Also , don't worry, the next day you will be fine at the doctor ! Hope this helps . I'm so happy I came here and I will personally recommend to absolutely everyone this place ! Again, thank you Dr Jane for existing in our life!

  Had a checkup today from my LASEK surgery I had around 2 months ago. Can see 20/10 vision with it still expected to improve. I’ve never been able to see things in detail like it!! Couldn’t recommend enough (and have recommended to others). Price is better than everywhere I looked and it wasn’t a long wait to get it done (I was in in 3 weeks) When I had my initial consultation I was slightly sceptical as the surgeon isn’t that chatty, or atleast not with small talk. I thought he wasn’t interested, but actually when I had my procedure he showed that this is his passion and he had great aftercare. Also let’s be honest, you’re not going there to talk about your weekend… if you want a quality surgery and low price, this is the place to go! Also big shoutout to Christine who was absolutely lovely from the start and is a pleasure to be around. Massive kudos for hiring someone who understands great service UPDATE: Since my surgery I’ve had absolutely no issues with my vision. I’m currently travelling the world thanks to this and everything is so much easier than when I had to wear contacts. I’ve had to get in contact with the surgery to fill out some forms to allow me to Scuba dive and the doctor got back to me almost immediately to help. There are very few places that would be this helpful and I’m honestly so grateful
