Jack and his team came and installed engineered herringbone flooring to our living room and hallway after another local company messed up the fitting due to incompetence. Jack returned a couple months later to finish a small portion as we ran out of wood due to the previous companies incompetence. Communication brilliant throughout and delighted with the results.

We had Jack and his team come round to refurbish our floor in the dining room, office and the hallway. It was a sensible price. Jack seemed to know what he was talking about. The first issue was the wrong finish was applied and they has to come back and remove and re-finish. Then we noticed that the edging which was removed in the office hadn't been replaced. When I called an explained this, I was told it had not been charged for. If you remove the trim to sand the floor, then surly you would have included it in the quote to finish the job. Most disappointing is the current sate of our floors. The floors have been down for just under 10 years and during this time there have been no issues. The kids were young and and the usage was high. The reason for the refurbishment was to make them good again now the kids had grown up. The floors are all splitting and it now looks like we will need to get the whole lot lifted and renewed. Having gotten an inspection from a flooring specialist they concluded that the sealant applied was not water proof and having removed the surface protection the floors are now absorbing moisture when washed and causing the timbers to swell. Jack said, it is just their age!! It is to be expected. Less than 1 year after paying £1200 I am now faced with a bill for thousands to sort the mess. Thanks Jack.... Service: Engineered wood
