After going through a miscarriage and being 40 I decided to give acupuncture a go. I visited Lucy and she helped me so much. After 2 cycles I fell pregnant again and I am now 32 weeks. Lucy is very knowledgeable and I felt at ease as soon as I met her. Lucy has helped me all throughout my pregnancy with all my symptoms and I will continue to see Lucy after my baby is born.

Lucy Ward is my little miracle worker. She has a kind, warm and loving way of working that makes you feel welcome, heard and acknowledged, no matter the issues you are addressing at the time. Lucy helped me feel physically and above all mentally better. She encouraged me to be the best me I can be and not just with the acupuncture treatments but also health advice such as diet, supplements and a listening ear. I am always looking forward to my regular treatments, not just as I know it makes me feel better but also to be able to catch up with a friend. The best and most amazing thing Lucy helped me with is the start of my daughter’s little life. I did not believe in induction which is, if I may say, something Lucy would agree with me on, and she would highlight the strength of acupuncture pre-, during and post-pregnancy. After a few days off being overdue, not only managed Lucy to squeeze me in for an appointment, she also managed to give my body the little push that it needed to go into natural labour, which started just a few hours after treatment. And know that’s what I mean, my little miracle worker.

Lucy fit me in very quickly for Moxibustion for a Breech Baby. She was very personable, easy to talk to and put me at ease. She showed me how to do the moxibustion and performed my first treatment. She then gave me the supplies needed to perform it at home. I’m pleased to say it had the desired effect it made baby more active and baby turned after daily treatment for just over a week. Would recommend if your in a similar situation.

Lucy has been an instrumental part in my recovery from Long Covid. I began treatment with her in August 2020 when I was looking for support and help with my symptoms that were quite frightening and dehabilitating. Her knowledge and experience has been priceless in treating the many symptoms that have been persistant and her approach and attitude have been constant positivity and warmth. I trust her judgment and value her extra efforts into research and highly recommend her therapy for anyone who like myself, felt that Western Medicine had done as much as it could for me. I have arthritis in my neck which has impacted on a nerve running across my left shoulder and down my arm resulting in great pain in my shoulder area and numbness and weakness in my arm .Having had this condition since December I went to the doctors in March when the pain became unbearable and was affecting my sleep and daily activities. After x rays and scans am still waiting for specialist appointment in the meantime I was taking 8 paracetamol and 3 heavy pain killers with very little effect .I have to admit that Lucy was a last resort for me as I never believed in accupuncture.However after the first appointment i noticed the pain was slightly less and as a result of the following sessions i am now taking virtually no pain killers .As an initial non believer in accupuncture I am completely of a different mind now .I would reccomend anyone in pain go to see Lucy and see what she can do for you . She is a lovely lady and very professional .She has changed my life completely ...Just go and get treated it works .
