The first thing I noticed upon entering was the shop was very dark, with only a couple of small lights in use The second thing I noticed was a folding chair (in its folded/flat form) on the floor directly inside the door. This became apparent when I almost tripped over it. The third thing I noticed was there were no other people to be seen. I did wonder if the shop hadn't opened, but the door was unlocked and I was there during opening hours. I wandered around for a few minutes, completely alone and squinting to try and read prices in the gloom, before a man appeared from downstairs and didn't seem particularly happy with my presence. I did buy a few things, with the man spending almost the entire time he was serving me looking at his phone. I was rather relieved to leave and step back out into the sunlight. Maybe it's not a bad shop, but I've never been in another shop where I felt like I was some sort of an intruder. Very unwelcoming (and hazardous, what with the trip hazard on the way in, which wasn't moved before I left) and I certainly wouldn't return.

A lovely little shop in the heart of China town. My kids love the snacks and so on available here. Friendly staff, and a nice atmosphere to the place. It is a bit cramped, so it is a good thing that everyone when we were there were doing their best to distance, waiting outside until there was space to enter.
