I purchased ALTAJ Saffron for £2.99, sealed and beautiful package provided by LUBNA FOOD LTD., the colour red and nice, but the taste and smell are absolutely different from an original Saffron. I came back to the shop and asked the manager to refund it as Saffron is expensive for its taste and smell. He told me as you opened it we can't accept it to return. Also he said" if you want the original one you shall pay £50 for it" ( it is not correct). We use Saffron few times a week in our food so he has no idea what am I talking about the quality of Saffron. We buy good 1 gram saffron same price from Iranian and Kurdish shops always. I have a right to a refund under the Sale of Goods Act 1979, because this item doesn’t match its description. Sylhet's customer service about zero. I don't recommend this shop at all.

Can't praise these guys enough, great products and excellent customer service! I've been going there for the last 30 years (since I was a kid), they've grown massively as a business, Alhamdulillah and they still recognise and look after their customers, big or small.... always helpful with trolleys, loading cars, discounts, and the management guys make you feel so welcome.....never fail to say hello or ask if you need help even when they are so busy! Definitely one of the best wholesalers in the country!

Not recommended !!! As a shopkeeper I ll not recommend cause their buying management is very lasy, mostly hot items are sold out at Lubna store for example I have been visiting the store about more then 15 time in last two month and awaiting still for Kashmir Bekery products or RedBull was for one month out of stock , 7up 500mil out of stock more then one month, Coke Bottle 1,5 Ltr out of stock , Luckzade pink 250mil out of stock last two weeks , Walker Chees and Onion crisp 1 pond Pack out of stock last two weeks ,. Hulah oops Crisp 1 Pond pack out of stock from one month ,. There are more helpers arround the counters out side then customers , mostly all helpers are calling to each other in ther loud voice , it feels like u are some where in a open vegetable market and les staff behind the counters and work is still not controled , in rear cases u have to bring the bought product back to the store and then they are not ready to return it not even to swape it, I was willing to give back one item bought from Lubna and they did not take it back then I returned the same item to an other store and they did accept it without saying one word, while I bought from Lubna ,. Few counter staff members don’t even know how to talk to the customer and how to deal with a customer. some time they close the doors of the store earlier then the given time , a staff member awaiting on the entrance to tell the people the we are closing now so u can’t go inside , when u force to get In then he ask you wat do u want to buy from the store ,. Then u tell one item and he ll say oh no that is out of stock , however when u ll be allowed in store , u ll get that item as well,..😂 ,... and much more ,...!!

Lubna Food Ltd is a quality name. Their shop is designed for self service but they have a large number of staff who are always ready to help you. Always first class service. Staff are very friendly,The senior guy whom everyone call mamu is very good person. They have a large collection of items. Prices are not more expensive than other shops. The pictures I’m sharing are not good enough but there shop is very organised.
