    I bought a 3 year old Mercedes in July last year and was told by the salesman that the car had full Mercedes’s service history the car recently had a recall and I was informed by my local Mercedes dealer there was no history on the car on the digital servicing database. I went back to lsh Auto and they agreed that the only service was one they did in March last year and as long as they over serviced it then the lack of service history doesn’t matter. In my mind the salesman lied and as he was employed by lsh Auto at the time this is a case of miss selling and fraud. Do not buy a car from this company as they will tell you anything to make the sale I am surprised they are a Mercedes main dealer

    I took my wife’s Mercedes for a software update to Lsh Auto’s near the Screwfix store in Solihull. This was my fourth visit, first two cancelled by the auto dealer himself because once the part was not available and second time the booking could not be found, the third one was my mistake as I took the vehicle a day earlier than scheduled. When I arrived at the workshop, the Mercedes garage was in full tishion. Tishion is when you see suit, boots and everything else but no customer service. The reception and the parking was a mess. Their was booking of maybe 50 vehicles or more with no parking space available and no help or assistance, except that the garage gentleman moving the vehicles asked me to park the vehicle across the double yellow lines. When I tried to I saw the signboard ‘No Parking’. By this time 10 other vehicles had arrived and they were desperately trying to find a parking space for themselves. After all of this extravaganza when I reached the queue, another gentleman who had brought his vehicle for service leaving important tasks aside was being refused service and asked to come another day. I realised that he was not being entertained primarily because he was black and then the desk clerk could not find his booking. This is what happened with me also. The gentleman was clearly annoyed. He refused to bring his vehicle another time and wanted to talk to their manager. God knows what happened to him later on. There was a pretty boy at the desk. But that’s all that he was. No manners, no customer service was his forte. Maybe the skin colour of that young boy had caught management’s attention or he had a strong reference from some Mercedes customer. The pretty desk boy was shy ling away and trying to make no eye contact whatsoever, greetings, hello, hi, hoya with the customers standing in front of him. And he was quite successful in doing that. Maybe the Lsh Auto management spent lot of money on training him to do what he was doing. The pretty boy who you could easily tell was racist because he was doing everything except his job which was attend to customers. I gauged from his body language that he didn’t want to attend to non-white customers. As I was non-white I decided to move to the other desk in the hope that someone might attend to me. Mercedes Benz should be ashamed of themselves that they have given Lsh Autos their dealership and servicing arrangements. Their service is poor by any standards and their staff is impolite and gives a damn to customer service. Non-white people may like to avoid this garage for serving them.

The car buying process was really very easy and relaxing. However I really just want to highlight how Mo truly went over and above what I would have expected when it came to the issue with the vibration. His demeanour was always calm, reassuring and he removed any stress from the situation. I want to thank him for agreeing to meet me half way on the two trips. I hope there is a more broad LSH survey where I can share my compliments more broadly within the group or Mercedes Benz.
