female assistant serving at till very abrupt, i went in to buy something with a £10 note and she told me i needed to buy something else as well as she did not have enough change in till, so i actually bought more than what i intended to go in for, i went back a few days later to buy one thing and again she told me the same thing that i needed to buy something else as well , as again she didnt have enough change in till -her words also were to me ‘ I TOLD YOU THIS THE OTHER DAY THAT I DO NOT HAVE ENOUGH CHANGE IN MY TILL’ fair enough people use a debit card more than cash these days but how does a customer know what change a shop has in its till from day to day, i was disgusted at the customer service and how i was spoke to, i work with customers from day to day and wouldnt dream of talking to my customers like that i treat them with repect, its very rude and disrespectful the way she went on, it has put me off going in this shop again, they also say to use a debit card you need to spend a minimum of £3, this is just a convenience store so a lot of people would probably only go in to buy 1 item with cash, the shop should be more prepared with a float and shop keepers shouldnt be telling customers that they need to buy one more thing and should talk to there customers in a respectful manner even if they didnt have enough change in the till because its not the customers fault. The shop assistant should be apologizing to the customer not shouting at them .
