I was babtised in this church when I was seven and regularly went to Sunday school there. I visited last year to look around and the two people I saw couldn't have been more welcoming. I am hoping to return this December to worship service on Sunday. I will of course check before hand. Well done I say!

I went to the advertised "Bowl of soup and chat", Soup-Kitchen if you will, On the time and day advertised on the website, I was met with a string of noes, and above all, utter contempt and resentment. I believe in god, not the church, so It hasn't harmed my faith, I am suddenly in the school of thought that if it were my church, I would audit the finances post haste. To have that level of contempt for your fellow man, or woman is contemptible in and of itself. I don't think this sort of person is honest in anything they do, to be a person connected with the church and show contempt and/or resentment to a complete stranger is really very peculiar. That sort of unkindness is more suited to civilisations of a few thousand years ago Audit - You have bad actors in your midst.

It's an imposing building. Has numerous offices for small community & charitable organizations. At reasonable rent. Also has a church with all the associated activities. They rent out rooms & a couple of large size rooms for variety of purposes. They run a soup kitchen for the community.
