Well, we spent a weekend at this picturesque site set in the countryside, easy to get to and easy access, we were meet and the entrance and given a full briefing on the site, pitches were very good and you didn’t feel crammed in. There’s two villages Denston and Alton within in walking distance and on the toilet and showers block there were route maps on how to get there all within a mile and half of the site location. We were told about the different routes and how to get to the villages safely. The showers and toilets were very clean and the site well maintained with a children’s play area. There’s not much more I can say other than it’s a must to come back too. Will I recommend this with out hesitation. Your missing out if you don’t visit.

Perfect campsite. Pitches are great with electric and your own water tap on the super pitch we booked. Lovely clean facilities to the highest of standard. Peaceful with beautiful views. Friendly sheep dog to play fetch with. And really close to Alton towers or the peak district. There is a footpath to 2 local villages directly from the campsite... although we didn't get to try this we will 100% be returning so something to look forward to.

Lovely little campsite with very clean facilities and a lovely couple who run the site. Stay here when visiting Alton towers. They have a lovely dog who you can stroke and play fetch with and a few llamas!

TRAVELLING Review
We stayed in cottage 3 over the weekend, there isn't anything bad to say about it just a few improvements maybe. 1.the floor boards next to the bed behind the stairs in the corner need replacing. I didn't want to get out of bed incase I woke anyone as they were so loud and creaky. 2. The kids thought it should of been more themed to go with the surroundings like a farm or woodland theam for £150 a night it just seem like bland. 3. Stick some board games in there for the rainy days. 4. The decorations just didn't match, you 2 different sofas, the paintings didn't tie together and the rug seemed so out of place. 5. The bit where we had to take the bedding off didn't really make sense as your taking off sheets but then your touching the actual pillow or blanket. The staff are lovely as usual, very polite, friendly and professional. Like iv said before we stay here at least 4-5 maybe more time a year but normally by tent. So this was new for us.
