Really really disappointing. Seems neglected and uncared for. For an arboretum there was very little information, nothing on what trees were there, no signage, large areas overgrown by brambles, dead trees, the bee hives had been completely abandoned and were overgrown. It was rather sad really.

Great place for a little walk, was muddy and wet when we went after rain the previous day so I think good footwear is essential even if it was wet the day before. The pub near by is great and you can get a coffee from there too. It says £2.50 but it's an honesty box so you can post more or less or even donate afterwards if you have no cash on you. Children's play area would open it up more to families with children.
