I've ordered from Lovecrafts many times over the past two years and never had a problem with them or with delivery. My most recent order was placed on Sunday and arrived Tuesday morning. They lose a star for being slow to restock when items run out & for getting rid of the compare yarns function on their site, which I found really useful, but overall, I've always been impressed with them. The one time I returned items, I was refunded promptly.

Avoid. Buy wool from anywhere else. Customer service not great. Parcel appears to have gone missing but I keep being told it's going to be here 'today', just 'today' never arrives. Wish I'd read reviews before I ordered.

I ordered on December 23, 2022, and the shipping time was about 21-28 days, but by February 2, 2023, I had not received the wool. I wrote an e-mail and they replied that it would take 3 to 5 days to deal with it.I wrote a second e-mail. On February 7th, they told me that the British Royal Mail was on strike, and now they have not been shipped to my country.Although the fee has been refunded, but why didn't they track the shipment?

I ordered my yarn and paid for delivery within 1-2 working days. So I was expecting it on the 12 July. I queried it with the helpline when it hadn’t arrived and they said they’d contacted the delivery company and then got back to me to say it would be within 48 hours. It didn’t arrive. I have emailed twice since, once to let them know it still hadn’t arrived and then, when there was no response, another requesting a refund. Still no response. And I can’t get through on their phone line. I am so fed up. All I can do is advise customers to shop elsewhere where they may get their delivery and/or better customer service. I’ve now adjusted my review to three stars as I have received my wool and received a refund of my delivery charge.

First time of using this company and my last. Unfortunately I had to return the wool as there was an error on the pattern I had chosen and I could not make use of the wool. Customer service non existent. 3 weeks in and still no refund despite being promised. Oh and although I returned 4 balls of white wool, they won’t refund those as I had ordered a value pack of 6! So buyers beware. Avoid is all I can say. Should have read the other reviews before ordering ! Lesson learned.

Always great service from this company. Last order was large with lots of colours of yarn and 1 colour was missing. I messaged using the form, very good customer service even though was after 7pm and received the missing yarn 2 days later. Thank you 😊

I like the range they offer but honestly when things go wrong customer service wise, they seem to go badly wrong. There seems to be very little communication between the warehouse and the customer service representatives. The customer service staff can take ages to get back to you and then you can't get a straight answer out of them. Phone lines have been disabled. It's hugely frustrating. Basically they sent me the wrong order. It's been a month getting to the point where they say just send it back for a refund. In the meantime all the fabric that I actually ordered has been sold out and they won't answer my question of whether it will be back in stock. Extremely disappointing because I can't find that pattern anywhere else. Ugh. Won't be shopping here again unless desperate.

After many years ordering solely from lovecrafts it was so disappointing for them to not include the bags with each order as they always have. This was such a lovely touch. I can understand the need to increase profit and it would have been more acceptable if at least they continued to provide them free over a certain amount i.e. £10. My orders are very rarely less then £25 a time and as such I really hope they reconsider their decision. Time to look elsewhere otherwise!
