Great venue with a great vibe that hosts some great acts and nights. I would definitely recommend popping in whether your strolling through the market or looking for a great night out you are always guaranteed a warm welcome from Matthew and his friendly team of staff. On the back of the last few years its very important that we show our support for local independent venues and businesses because when we lose them we lose them for good and in doing so we lose a part of the community. Love by name love by nature❤️

Vibe, music, venue was absolutely great we had an amazing time. Unfortunately, security guard at the front entrance, he came across a bit rude and aggressive. This was my first visit at Bar Love, I have arrived earlier on with one friend of mine and two other friends they arrived a bit later on. I was not aware of venue policy nor the system how does it work. When I came to the entrance with two friends one was in early on and another one not, guy immediately came across very agresively, accused me that I am doing something wrong in not nice way. 1. I didn't get any information about entry policy and the way how it works. 2. He placed me in very uncomfortable situation that I have been thinking of leaving immediately, but another friend of mine was still on the way so I didn't want to change the plan. I am very gentle and polite person and I didn't find his approach appropriate nor helpful. I did go and speak with him later on without my friends around to avoid any embarrassing situation. I said to him that I never been informed about any restrictions policy and he came across immediately very agresive with me, saying things like if you want to do this you can go somewhere else etc. also he stated that he is not drinking and he knows what he is doing etc. I explained him that I have not been informed about and restricted entry policy and I would appreciate if he is acting welcoming rather than him being agresive and not polite with me. I didn't drink myself nor my friends that night, so there was no reason for him to say what he said to proove what? I did speak with him later on and explained that I would like to know if there is any possibility of us getting inside at that evening etc. He again didn't answer clearly, I was asking numerous times, what basis he is operating on... If he can just let me know as we can wait some time... After numerous attempts he said that he let people in when some people will leave. We have went for small walk around, as my friends were not happy to stay with such a treatment and embarrassment around the venue. Later on we returned back as we came because of the music mostly and I went to speak with security again he finally softened and said that there will be possible entry in 5min. for me another friend and my two friends which came late. So in the end he allowed us in, but unfortunately he didn't apologise for previous inconvenience at all. I did Thank him few times as well as in the end while leaving. I need to state that I have never experienced this type of attitude while entering the venue. Even later on in the evening we went to another party to another venue the security guys were more than friendly and very welcoming with positive proactive attitude and very helpful approach they invited us in. Well, I do believe that this was not necessary and yes I will be much more grateful for further improvements related to customer facing skills: more amicable, informative, welcoming, polite and more professional attitude at the entry point, would be greatly appreciated. Other that that we have had great dance and drinks we looking very attractive to my eye 💚 even though I don't drink only occasionally, I might return and try some in the future. My best wishes with all.

Great evening on the Portobello Road. Live eclectic collection of musians. Friendly staff. Amazing art graphic back drop made the evening even more magical. Large easy chairs enabled us to watch show in comfort. 3rd Thursday of every month I highly recommend this place if you are trying to find the authentic Notting Hill experience. Love love love ' Love Bar'!!!! 🤣 😂 ♥️ ♥️ Thanks for a night to remember xx
