I found Louise after much online searching to find a 50's style wedding dress. I went to her studio where I tried on a few different dresses and some separates to get an idea of how various shapes and fabrics looked on me. Using this and my brief of 'a wedding dress that wasn't a tradditonal wedding dress' she drew up some bespoke design sketches for me and we picked our favorite elements to go together. Buying a wedding dress from design only is a scary thing but I completely trusted Louise and so should you as the end result was more than I could have ever hoped for. The dress fitted like a glove, it was beautifully made and the tiniest details had all be thought of. It was stunning. I cannot thank her enough and would highly recommend her.

Working with Louise made getting my wedding dress an incredible experience! I met her through the ‘Something old Something new’ wedding dress shop back in 2017 when it was in Caversham. Louise has lots of different sample types that can be combined, meaning you can try on a variety of dress shapes and tweak them until it’s perfect! I knew I wanted a white polka dot dress but still really enjoyed looking through her many other fabrics. My dress was made over a few fittings in Louise’s lovely home studio (it’s great to have a peak through her new samples whilst your there!) My dress had a detachable top lace part overlaying a sweetheart neckline and detachable belt with bow and I absolutely loved wearing it! Her service was so great in the course of my dress being made she designed me a dress for my brothers wedding, made silver belts in the same shape as the one on my wedding dress for my bridesmaids and petticoats for my bridesmaids to match mine. She also designed a silver and blue dress for my niece (similar time my bridesmaids) who was between children/adult sizes. It fitted her perfect, she really loved it! It’s such a nice feeling knowing who made your wedding dress personally, I really can’t recommend Louise enough.

I first got in touch with Louise early last year to discuss dress ideas for my Bridesmaids dresses. As I work away and am often not able to contact anybody, Louise made it very easy and provided me with all I needed to make decisions, offered advice on colours style and sizing as my bridesmaids live in different parts of the UK. Correspondence was always prompt and professional and I had a wonderful experience from start to finish. The material used is of the highest quality and so well made that I ended up having one of the dresses for myself! I can't wait until the girls are all in them. I would highly recommend Louise Rose Couture and have no doubt I will be using her fantastic services again in the future.
