I had an amazing experience at loughborough train station last Saturday where the staff really went above and beyond to help me get on with my day. I want to thank Richard for his time and assistance when my phone with my ticket and money on stopped working and for sitting with me while we tried to get it working again. He was a massive help and so caring and considerate, wouldn't have made it to my appointment without his help.

Plenty of parking and super helpful and kind staff. My first rail trip North of London: everything worked - the gates, the contactless pay for tickets and parking, several super friendly and helpful staff at station window and on platform. Anybody doing Deutsche Bahn in Germany in recent years would be totally blown away by this. Real people who assist travelers with needs, respond friendly, and don't pretend they didn't hear you - Loughborough, please hang on to that! While I didn't try the coffee shop, the station has one and the WC was clean and functioning. I am blown away by the multitude of destinations served from here.
