    For a company with a mission statement that includes the words “our customers always come first” I’ve never been as disappointed. My Range Rover evoques steering rack bolt broke on 30/03/23 (an issue under recall, that’s been so common that it became the subject of a BBC watchdog series). Upon ringing the Land Rover jaguar (LRJ) garage, they were unable to fit me in until the 26/04/23, originally this was to be the start of may, I only received an earlier date under the premise that I would not receive a courtesy car (leaving me unable to attend my job as a paramedic and even travel into town to get formula for my 3 week old son). I had the vehicle towed to the garage at my own expense, and even though it was booked in, a week later, on the 5th of may as I write this, it is still to even be looked at (apparently, as it was towed in, this has led to the delay, something I cannot comprehend). This extended period that I’ve been left without a car has left me no choice but to leave myself in debt by purchasing another car to ensure I can still work and look after my family. During the week my car has been in the garage I have rang 5 times, each time being promised that I will receive a callback, I eventually received one, only after pleading to at least be briefly updated. This update informed me that it will be at least next week until my car is looked at. During this time, the major delay has forced me into yet another month of paying finance for a car that I solely just want to get rid of, as after this treatment, I never wish to attend another LRJ garage again. I’ve offered the garage the chance to buy the vehicle once it has been fixed, I’m not holding out much hope, but let’s pray they put more effort into an estimate than they have with regards to fixing it.
