trying for the last six months. To get appointment but Nothing available. After almost 1 hour waiting to get through ,they ask me to go to the hospital or call 101 very upsetting, and when I mention, should I need to go to different Gp the answer was you should do that !!! so not happy at all.

You never find an appointment even when is about a 2 year old toddler. They offer appointments after one week. Last week I called my daughter had high fever, cough, she had been vomiting, developed a rash all over her body and they didn't offer an appointment. The rude receptionist says she can offer an appointment next week. Today I called again and there are no appointments. There are never appointments available....

Absolutely terrible GP practice. - admin team with little to no respect for patients. They reply to any query with a “no can do” attitude and standard copy pasting of answers without ever answering the actual question. - GP appointments usually via phone calls which last less than 2.5 minutes as they are overly eager to get you off the phone, you don’t even get a moment to ask any questions before you’re hung up on. Luckily with the extensive survey you must complete in advance you can self diagnose as well as recommend the treatment you believe you require. Although getting that treatment can take another 3 months. - long waiting lines on the phone, very limited hours you may call and often hung up on before you get to the front of the queue - you have to wait in the phone queue each time and may only call during their very strict times. For a morning appointment you have to call in the morning and for an afternoon appointment you have to call in the afternoon. Yet each time you call they do not have an appointment available and you are told to call again. And again and again… I called 6 times over the course of a few days, without getting an appointment.

Cannot get an appointment about my poor breathing & high blood pressure. Had an infected rash on my chest & went into Lonsdale & was told to go to A&E. Went to a walk in centre & they said the Dr's are not doing their job. They gave me some antibiotic, steroid cream. I am so disappointed in our GP system.

THE PEOPLE WHO WORK HERE ARE AN EXAMPLE OF THE STEEP DECLINE OF THE NHS. NO AMOUNT OF FUNDING WILL FIX IT WHEN THE STAFF ARE RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL AND BASICALLY DO NOTHING BUT USE PROCEDURE TO AVOID TREATING PEOPLE. Dietitian Met with her few weeks back and agreed on a plan. She was to call me back a week later and "forgot", I called and then she rang me back. She's very unprofessional and lied to me when recalling our 1st meeting about the outcome and what we agreed. Just to get rid of me basically. Receptionist Called to try to book a GP and the rather rude/curt woman on the phone said "I have no appointments" and that was it, hoping I would hang up so she didn't have to deal with me. It was very obvious. I asked questions and she finally told me what the process is. What she should say is "I have no appointments for the current booking period, please call back on this date" - I told her to say that next time and she hung up on me!!!! Anywhere but the NHS these people would be fired. I have sent 2 emails about this and no reply. When I was at Blessing Medical the staff were busy but friendly and showed some care, Londsdale is nothing like that. Seems the staff here just want to get rid of patients not care for them

Although it can be tricky to get an appointment at Lonsdale (as is the case everywhere at the moment) every experience I've had at the clinic has been wonderful and every doctor I've seen there has been incredibly kind, caring and professional.

I have been with this surgery a while now but the service has become totally unacceptable (and dangerous) the past year. I have repeatedly tried to get appointments for my infant children, only to be on hold for an hour and then told there are no appointments and to call back tomorrow. EVRY SINGLE TIME. Their call time is 8.30am which is impossible if you do a nursery or school drop off. My son has had a rash for 3 months now and I am yet to see a DR in person. They cannot even help me with a referral to a private DR over email - I am just told to call back. Totally unacceptable especially when a baby is involved.

Impossible to get an appt. Been a patient for over a decade at Lonsdale, but find it dangerous and concerning how difficult it is to receive in person care. I'm generally healthy so hopefully I should be OK. But a family member of mine has a long term health condition and I feel like he's been let down bad by this practice. It's gone massively downhill since the merge.

I am 3rd year family doctor in Portugal. I came to Lonsdale Medical Centre to do a short internship and to know the NHS and GP daily work. It was a very enrichment experience to be there. All the staff was really nice with me, the installations are really good, you can see they really care about well being of attendees and workers, the informatic system is much better than ours in Portugal. You can get an appointment in less than one/ two weeks and seldomly patients have to wait for the appointment. The organisation in Lonsdale Medical Centre is amazing! Congratulations to everyone! Already missing well-being Wednesday!
