What is the capacity of your party venue?
Our party venue has a capacity of up to 150 guests.Can we bring our own food and drinks, or do we need to use your catering services?
We provide catering services for our events, but we do allow outside food and non-alcoholic drinks to be brought in. Alcoholic drinks must be purchased through our bar.Are there any restrictions on the type of decorations we can use?
We allow most types of decorations, but we do ask that nothing is permanently affixed to the walls or floors. We also do not allow open flames or smoke machines.What audio/visual equipment is available for use?
We provide basic audio equipment, including microphones and speakers. We also have a projector and screen available for use.What is your cancellation policy and what happens if there is inclement weather on the day of the event?
Our cancellation policy varies depending on the event, but we do require a non-refundable deposit to secure the date. If there is inclement weather on the day of the event, we will work with the client to reschedule to a mutually agreed upon date.Reviews

As soon as we stepped into Longton Wood we knew it was the perfect venue for us. Not only is it just. so. beautiful, but it’s also in an absolutely perfect location and gives so much opportunity for freedom to create a truly unique day exactly the way you want it. We started excitedly planning the moment we drove away down the track from our first viewing! It doesn’t feel fair to call Longton Wood a blank canvas venue when the woodland gives such a stunning surround to whatever you want to bring in. We loved that we could build an event there that was truly unique to us but that Longton also provides the bits that tend to be a bit trickier and not very exciting to pick! - bathrooms, lighting generator etc. We really appreciated how fantastic Jennifer, the owner, was to work with. Her ethos seems to match her venue perfectly, she truly gave us the space and freedom to make the weekend as we wanted it - whilst also being incredibly helpful (and calm!) whenever we had questions/worries. Our guests all had a fantastic time - people are still talking about how great our venue was, months later! We couldn’t have loved the whole day more! At Longton we were able to have exactly the day and evening we hoped for, from the moment we walked down the aisle to the small hours of the morning sitting around the firepit. It went far too fast but we wouldn’t change a thing. We can’t imagine our wedding having been anywhere else. Thank you Longton!

We fell in love with the place on a rainy day in October 2019 when we attended a wedding fair here. The magic of the whole venue is something you have to see to believe. We were delayed due to Covid and finally had our big day back in July. We honestly couldn’t have asked for a more stunning setting. The ability to have every detail exactly how we wanted allowed us to create our perfect day. Every guest was wowed by the surroundings and couldn’t quite believe that this was nestled deep into the trees. Jenny had been so helpful from the word go and even on the days before and after, she was on hand for anything us and our suppliers needed. I cannot recommend enough that you book a viewing at this venue, you won’t be disappointed

Longton Wood was our dream wedding venue from the moment we viewed it. The spectacular woodland surroundings provided the perfect place to get married & celebrate with all our family and friends. The ‘blank canvas’ nature of Longton Wood allowed us to be creative & curate a day that was immensely personal to us! Jennifer (the owner) was always on hand to answer queries & help us when required. We would highly recommend Longton Wood as a wedding venue! ❤️

As a Celebrant, I'm so lucky that I get to work in some incredible wedding venues, but truthfully, Longton Wood is one of my absolute favourites! From the moment you walk into the woodland, stepping onto the path lined with tall trees all around, there is a magical feeling about the place that I can't explain. And when you arrive in the clearing that is amplified even more - one way to describe it is 'nature's cathedral'. Longton Wood is very much a blank canvas venue that couples can really put their own stamp on, whether it's festival-style or simply rustic, and I love working there! Thank you Jenny for looking after it so beautifully.

We had a festival themed wedding at Longton Wood in June at the venue for this is just perfect! It's an enchanting woodland, set out perfectly for the ceremony, reception and glamping. All the walkways are lit up beautifully with festoon lighting, there's a fun little picture trail, a giant swing, a cosy firepit and practical bits too like toilets, showers, a kitchenette and little wooden stalls dotted around. Jenny is great to work with too. We highly recommend Longton Wood for a woodland wedding - everyone loved it!

Longton Wood is an absolutely wonderful woodland venue, both a blank canvas and with facilities to accommodate a large gathering. They give so much freedom to do what you want, and offer toilet and shower facilities on site, which we found to be a godsend as we had camping. Great communication and good links with vendors to make your day easier to plan. Can’t recommend enough.
