What a brilliant place to stay. We had a beautiful pitch with an electric hook up for our motorhome it was right next to Monkey World. It's a very well run organised park. The facilities are fantastic. We travelled from the Orkney Islands at the very tip of the North of Scotland over 750 miles to visit Monkey World which we have followed for over 30 yrs. So this place was ideal. The cost was very reasonable infact I would go as far as to say I would have paid more for these standards. I will definitely recommend. Nearby activities: Interesting talks with the Lamas on site. You could walk them as well. Food & drinks: There was a lovely farm shop. You could order in equipment for your own barbecue and also take a way food and beers etc All was reasonably priced. Great idea.

It was a lovely stay and we found this campsite last year as something different from our normal location never a problem. Booking was a bit complicated. But we were told to turn light music down, as he said he could hear it from his house. We turned it down even though it wasnt that loud, he told us he could still hear it. Part of party were down by the house and could not hear any music, we were in the furthest feild at the back. It is a rule yes if its disturbing others but it was not but the party next to us can be loud with their yapping dogs until 1am. its also a rule that all dogs be kept on lead , yet the party next to us had their dog off lead most of the time while our dogs were kept on lead the whole time. One rule for one, one for another.

We went to Longthorns Farm for the alpaca walk as a spur of the moment activity on our weekend away to Bournemouth. We loved every minute. The guide Terry/Terri was so lovely. She was so knowledgeable and made the walk fun and accessible to our mixed group of ages and abilities. The animals were well looked after and were obviously very happy on the farm. I can’t recommend it enough as a lovely morning activity with the sweetest animals and it was great value for money

I can't recommend Longthorns Farm enough! We went for our daughter's birthday to do the Alpaca Walking experience It was just brilliant. All four of us loved it & it was well worth the money - 90 minutes of getting to know the alpacas, walking with Garfield & Fudge and then feeding them all was just the best. The goody bag each for the girls and drinks for us all after was a lovely touch - such good value! We also noticed how lovely and clean the campsite as a whole was and The Parlour Cafe & Shop were excellent too! We will definitely be coming back to camp with our dub this summer 🚐 Thank you x

Best campsite in the area. Had a great time with the family. Highlights are: - Family run site. The family is really welcoming, friendly and helpful. - Good, clean facilities. - Shop on site selling the essentials. - Good sized pitches (electric and non) with plenty of space left for children to play. - Alpacas that you can take for a walk (bookable extra). - Bar on site that offers good takeaway food at a reasonable price (bar closes at a reasonable hour so no roudy guests). - Cabins and luxury tents are available for hire. - Walking distance to monkey world (you can hear the gibbons sing at around 8-9am from the site). - Short drive to Corfe Castle, Lulworth Castle and the Tank Museum. Definitely one we will use again.
