It’s a cosy little Asian fusion restaurant. Although it seemed busy, we were able to just walk in for dinner without any booking. I had the Thai fish cakes for starter and the chicken Nasi Goreng both were very good and decent sized portions too. My girlfriend had the Satay chicken and green curry, also very good. The staff were very friendly and made me feel very comfortable.

Perfectly local with delicious food. The restaurant has a cosy atmosphere with a good play list to relax too. The food is superb, homemade crackers and dips. The starter portions are generous, perfect for sharing and the mains are on trend for quality food with fresh ingredients. Located in central Brighton, but not crowded. We booked, but take a chance for a spare table if you are in the area.

We were in Brighton a few weeks ago and were struggling to find somewhere that we fancied for dinner. My only previous Thai experience was at a Giggling Squid and after eating there, I left thinking I did not like Thai food. Longrain blew that opinion completely out of the water. Everything was delicious! Beautifully fresh and full of flavour. The staff were so friendly and happy to answer any questions we had about the menu. The duck bao bun was absolutely insane and I’d happily do the 5 hour round trip just to go back and eat it again. This is a small, authentic restaurant that should have had a queue down the street. It’s a gem and the food is well worth a visit but the service really makes the experience. Can’t wait to go back.
