    Thank you so much for looking after my dad. You are an amazing Nursing home that look after your residents and include your visitors as family. I got to keep my dad for another two years after losing my mum and if it wasn’t for you, I would have lost him earlier. I will miss seeing you all.

    Please do not send your loves ones to Longmead court. My father died from covid-19 at Longmead and was not hospitalized. When we asked why we were told, 'we cannot tell you'. Whilst my father was sick and dying his family members -children,siblings- were not even given a phone call. I had to find out about my fathers death through Facebook 10 days later, by which point an estranged 'family' member of my fathers had already arranged his funeral, making it 'password protected' so our family are not allowed to attend or participate. All of this after being assured that I was my fathers first contact and next of kin. All of this after numerous pleas and a formal complaint from dads family about the issues we were having with said family member to Longmeads manager. All of this still yet after my father was previously hospitalized and the family were not informed on that occasion either, it took four days for me to locate him!I am told that there will now be an investigation by the CQC. Although we as a family don't hold out much hope. Please keep your loves ones away from longmead court. However, I would like to add one important note,that the care my father received from the individual nurses was above and beyond, caring and compassionate and it is management and management solely who have let my dad and the family down, denying us of the opportunity to grieve or say goodbye.     I was very upset at the thought of my dear mother going into a nursing home , she was admitted into longmead court quite poorly but within a couple of weeks she seemed to have a new lease of life and she made it very clear how fond she was of all the lovely caring staff that work there. I can not fault the care and nursing support mum received and I feel very privileged to have met them all. Kelly and her team are just simply amazing
