It looks better in photos than person. Guided tour was the only option which was interesting but very long. I wanted to spend more time taking pictures from the garden but was very rushed.

Amazing experience - not to be missed! This was enhanced by the guides' knowledge of the history of the family and explanation of the incredible works of art.

(Translated by Google) Too bad you can't just get there. A visit is apparently only possible with a guide. You can't even take a picture from afar. (Original) Schade, dass man nicht einfach so hinkommt. Ein Besuch ist scheinbar nur mit Führung möglich. Nicht einmal ein Foto kann man von Weitem machen.

Wow, WHAT a pile! One of the Prodigy houses that Queen Elizabeth the first used to visit. The most exquisite stately home - the seat of the Earls of Radnor. I live near Folkestone so was fascinated with the connection with Longford Castle (Playdell Gardens and Radnor Park etc) and Yes!! All part of the same family! Anyway, it was open for cream teas to fundraise Horatio's Gardens (in aid of the spinal injury charity). All the great and the good were there including Pip...(pa). Weather and delphiniums out of this world. When it comes to Jubilees and English Country Gardens noone does it better. And the foals were adorable.... Cream tea was pretty damn good too!
