Clean and well kept station. Staff are always helpful. Four trains an hour each way although pre COVID there were six and it would be nice to see that reinstated. Barriers would also be good for ticket checks.

River rea route behind longbridge train station is scenic and theres lots of nature and wildlife if you look properly. Wonderful route for kids and there is a little park at the end as you head towards northfield. We noticed a bird box, fun sign post and plenty of bugs squirrels and birds. Longbridge shopping centre is just around the corner with sainsburys, poundland, smyths, barnardo's charity shop, kfc, EE store and bournville college. Theres other shops aswell and a place where you can sit and eat outside just past costa. Think the parking is free for hour and a half or maybe three hours but youd have to double check. If you're feeling fancy there is a Mark's and Spencer's with a cafe and food hall. Then theres a chippy pharmacy and convieniece shop on the corner of sunbury road (just past the train station in the opposite direction of sainsburys) and a pub.

Recently refurbished, it is still a fair walk down to the platform from the main road. When the counter is open the staff here are very helpful with enquiries, but I normally by my ticket via an app.

Very poor. Waited until I had lived in the area at least 2 months to see if anything improved after feedback & it hasn’t. Machines often don’t work, either don’t take notes or don’t take change (or both) often no one behind the desk, and most notably - advertise as a station with a toilet & disabled access - and have neither available. It has been out of order since May.
