Absolutely appalling - don’t waste your money. I was given a far higher quote than other places and was assured it’s because they only refer you to experienced, approved solicitors. I got a solicitor who qualified 2 years ago and has made such a big error in our case that we’re on the verge of losing our sale. They also tell you their fees are higher because they’re fixed with no extras - also untrue, I’ve had at least two additional fees added to my bill (handling freehold/leasehold sales and applying for my help to buy ISA bonus). When I tried to complain about my solicitor and get someone new put on my case, LWC told my solicitor that I had complained about him and asked him to resolve it. Now they have washed their hands of the issue altogether. Would never go near them again.

We feel very missold by this product. We were told Londonwide Converyancing would act as a bridge between the estate agent and solictor. However, the moment we struggled with an unresponsive solictor, Londwide tried to step away completely, claiming they merely recommend an agent and that our contract is with the solictor directly. The person who originally sold the project passed me to her supervisor who stated she would call back, but never did. Be wary of this service. You simply end up paying more for some average/ poor solictors that you could find directly. On the flip side, KFH themselves as estate agents were very professional throughout so my issue is only with the conveyancing arm of the business.

There is no need to look elsewhere!! If you’re looking for a good quality property solicitor then get hold of Emma Munday and the team at Londonwide Conveyancing. I had a fantastic experience and I would 100% recommend these guys to anyone looking for a good lawyer to act on their property purchase or sale. Because I was buying a leasehold flat within a large block in Lambeth (SW London), I was keen for a London based solicitor who had a great deal of experience dealing with similar leasehold flats. The solicitor I was recommended was very professional and had good knowledge for the type of property I was purchasing. Also unlike other solicitors I had used before there were no unexpected hidden costs. They work on a no purchase/no fee basis and I was given a full breakdown of the costs before I signed up.
