2 stars mainly due to the waiter who was lovely. Only deserved 1 star. After looking at the menu online. Was excited to try LID. However of the few items we ordered. Almost all we're disappointing. 1. Crispy corn - frozen corn that had been defrosted before frying. As we were the only customers in there at 8pm on a Thursday night. I even heard the microwave ding. Result chewy and tasteless. 2. Cheese hash browns. What came were tater tots that you can buy frozen in Iceland. I know as we get them. 3. Mutter Panner dosa Over cooked dosa with the smallest portion of cold dhal. Inside the dosa was plain unflavoured handful of defrosted peas and unflavoured unfried paneer! Sprinkle of raw onion, only a tablesoom of each filling. 4. Mumbai dosa Semi decent filling, a couple of small spoons of normal masala, plus cheese , Peppers and onions. Dosa was over cooked to the point that it was pretty much burnt in the middle. 5. Chilli panner The only dish with no issues. Price seemed cheap but it's not as its without VAT. Portion size was totally miniscule. Normally you can share a starter between 2-3 people in most places. However this was a single person size. Very disappointed. Almost complained but the waiter was too nice. Its not his fault. Much better off going to the dosa place on Kenton Road. Our normal go to.

TOTAL SCAM!!!!! DO NOT COME HERE!!! Lots of hidden charges like additional VAT. Also, they left water bottles on each table. Naturally, we thought they were free, but they only told us they were priced at the end. Complete disgrace! Please do not ruin your day by coming here.

RIP OFF! You get the shock with 20% service charge when you get the bill. They keep 4 water bottles on each table as if they are complimentary but if you open that bottle then you let you know that you have to pay for it. The bottles did not even look new. Interior is not inviting at all. Quantity of food is very small. We went there on the Saturday evening at 7 and it was completely empty. It was our first and last visit. We are not going to go there ever again.
