I don't usually use buses but I only did tongiht because there's no trains, so I only have one experience to go on, but I was horrified about what happened (not to me, luckily for me) - I got on the bus by Wilkinson in Epsom, and sat down waiting for it to leave, and as the bus started moving, I heard a loud knocking on the window. It turned out that a passenger, trying to get on, HAD THEIR HAND STUCK IN THE CLOSED DOORS!!! So the bus driver stopped, due to the knocking, but still had to be told by another passenger to open the doors! What a careless mistake from a qualified driver! I would have screamed had it been me!the scariest thing of all is to think, what if hadn't knocked, would the driver have driven off dragging someone along the road by their hand??! This was terribly dangerous, and checking the doors are closed, with no one trapped before moving off seems like one of the most basic parts of the job! Please raise this with your driver's, cos I hate to think of this happen ing again!

5 star review for 272 driver Ian Coffey! In a 20 min tri[p yesterday(Fri 8/7/22) he drove without fits and starts, was patient with the slow and elderly , greeted and farewelled with jollity, made a Pass enquiry discreetly and pleasantly, and generally behaved as we wish all drivers would. I have nothing but admiration for most London bus drivers - and this guy exemplified all the best traits.
