Sonja is AMAZING and has been a blessing. I contacted her about Speech Therapy for my son and all I can say is.. "I made the best decision for my child". She has a warm personality which puts you at ease. She takes her time to get to know you and your child. Her responses and reactions are non judgemental. I was struggling emotionally and it was so easy to open up to her and she listened and was very empathetic. With regards to working with my 2 year old.. I can see so many great changes and his nursery have noticed. My son now says words like "ball" and "apple! bear in mind he was not saying anything at all. She used a very great approach in working with my son. He absolutely adores her and engages with her at every session. She also taught me alot of things and helped me understand the best ways I can communicate with my son. Her techniques work and she is very patient and would explain and guide you through the whole process. What I admire is the transparent and the non judgemental way she works with me and my son.i would recommend Sonja to any parent who wants to help their child with speech and language. Working with her has made me feel so confident and I am positive about the future... She is very professional and really does make you feel very important and highlights in when explaining your importance to your childs development. We initiated contact with Sonja during lockdown for our 2 year old son who was experiencing challenges with his ability to communicate. Sonja had an immediate impact, and provided us with ongoing support and strategies that opened up new methods for our son to communicate. Sonja is hugely knowledgable and experienced, and very responsive to her clients. Her support culminated in a detailed report designed to assist with our EHCP application, which was subsequently successful, in no small part to Sonja’s advice, guidance and support throughout. Sonja has been a great help with our son's turbulent feeding journey. She was able to quickly spot a tongue tie and offer guidance on latching as well as how to introduce bottle feeds without jeopardising breastfeeding. When feeding issues have surfaced, her ability to instantly provide ideas and advice is evidence of her extensive knowledge and experience.
