I recently moved to Leicester from Canada and have been in search for a new hair salon! I made an appointment last minute and went to see Nitika. I’m so picky about my hair but she did such an amazing job! She was making sure every step of the way that I was happy and my hair felt so soft and healthy by the end of it! Will definitely be back!!

In my experience at London rd hair it seems like they do not recognise how to dry or style naturally wavy/curly hair. I only went for a wash and cut but I left the salon with poofy shapeless dry hair. On one occasion I was told by the lady doing my hair that she didn't want to dry it because it would look bad walking out of the hairdressers. I guess they didn't care that it would look bad later when it dried as long as it wasn't dried when I left, cyz they don't know how to dry wavy/curly hair. And for this, they charged around £45 despite the poor result. I am so glad I have found a new hairdresser who knows how to do their job for various hair types beyond straight hair and allowed me to realise how poor my first hairdresser experience was.

I had my haircut yesterday and I’m really disappointed about the experience and result. It was not a busy period but my haircut felt like it was rushed and I wasn’t even shown the back of my hair once it was done. The hairdresser decided to style my hair wavey which just hid how badly its been cut. I went home and straightened it to realise my hair is not cut evenly (one side is longer than the other) and I have very choppy and uneven layers that don’t blend well on one side with little to no layers on the other. I have attached a picture of the left and right side of my hair. Really unhappy I paid £39 for this?!
