Positives: It's the actual Olympic pool where all the heroes swam. It's a clean, modern 50m pool. The lanes are wide, making circle swim easy. Water temperature is good, the locker room is clean with individual changing cubicles, swimsuit and hair dryers. Negatives: For swim for fitness: You need a reservation, and you need to show up between 5 mins before and 10 mins after the reservation time. This means that although it closes at 21:45, you need to arrive at 21:00 even if you're only swimming 20 minutes. Edit: they recently opened up reservations all the way to 21:10 which means you can show up before 21:20 and still get a swim in. This is a great improvement, bumping rating from 4 to 5 stars. If there is any major event at the west ham stadium, they close the gates into Westfield, meaning you have to take a very long walk around Westfield to get to the Stratford station.

Fantastic facilities, two Olympic sized swimming pools, one used for lessons, the movable floor is ideal and of course the main pool used in the 2012 London Olympic games, all this plus a dedicated diving pool, gym and coffee shop. Parking is available with discounts for members, but do make sure you check parking terms and conditions. Otherwise, you could end up with a costly bill! Disabled parking spaces are available around 100 yards from the main entrance, which is opposite the London Stadium home of West Ham United FC.

The place is nice and the swimming instructor was amazing. Will be going back. But the reception staff member was very rude and unhelpful and assumed I was going for a different and showed me the wrong direction and I was forced to find everything myself despite this being my first time at the centre .This was at 19:30 on Thursday, and the staff member looked south European.
