This is usually quite busy but I’ve arrived on a quiet time making it a much more pleasurable experience. There are snacks such as crisps and biscuits as well as water (still or sparkling) and a coffee machine that is full of surprises in the form of 15 options to choose from! Check in was as simple as showing my eTicket and it is easy to find.

Delayed trains and no one to explain. We left lounge to take a train and moved all our luggage. Then no track listed. We waited and waited and waited!! It was ridiculous. It was cold and no information offered. Maybe could have stayed in club longer if advised however no one seemed to know or care. They weren’t rude just not very helpful and tris was already after our original train was cancelled. Once on board nice service. All in all not bad once we left Leeds!

Friendly staff, this doesn't feel like a typical first class lounge as the furniture is a little dated, but a decent stop to pass time before boarding a train. Has a basic coffee machine.

Cafe quality nothing more. Looking rather dated and scruffy looking. Offers tea, coffee, still & sparkling water, biscuits and salt and vinegar crisps. No diary free or gluten free alternatives. Save your money and use the money you'll spend in difference between standard and "first class" in Marks & Spencer instead. Scruffy and dingy. Update 1PM, 11.12.22 - Rude staff. Had a first class ticket but was refused entry as my ticket was 20p under the £10.00 minumum price. The female member of staff (was rude and embarrassed me) If anyone at LNER reads this please sort the piss poor staff and the dated cafe quality lounge.
