After suffering chronic fatigue for 16 years, the 4 day Vedic Meditation course was the kickstart I needed to an improving sense of well-being, and along the way to identifying the roots of the condition . Since the course in December 2022, twice daily sessions of meditation have become part of my routine. Day by day, I'm able to achieve a wider range of tasks, and for longer, without feeling exhausted. Walking for pleasure for an hour is a joy; my sleeping pattern is better; comfort eating is becoming less of an issue. Week by week and month by month, I appreciate the on-going teaching and encouragement of Jillian and Michael, centred in lived experience and responsive to queries that arise. It's a commitment to all meditators who've been on the course and for that I am extremely grateful.

I first read an article about Jillian and the London Meditation Centre back in January 22 which peaked my interest. I then suffered a health hiccup in the April which shouted loud and clear that things had to change in my life. I ignored the alarm bells until November when I finally took the plunge. The course is a fabulous journey of discovery. In a warm and welcoming environment, Michael guided us with no-nonsense instructions, how to meditate-often with injections of his gentle humour. Since finishing the course I have missed only one meditation-why would I not do something that has had such a positive impact on every aspect of my life? A calm has descended of which I have never experienced before. I can say with absolute certainty that if you turn up for your 40 minutes every day it will change your life-it has mine! The follow-up emails and group meditation sessions help you keep on track and address questions and issues that may crop up on your meditation journey. Jillians book Why Meditate? I loved learning to meditate with Jillian in September. It was easy! and took place in a calm and welcoming atmosphere. Since the course I have been meditating alone every day and have felt more at ease and generally calmer in my daily life. If this is something you feel you would like to do - I would say, just do it! Sign up for a course. It's easy, and although you do need the support of a teacher at the beginning, you will also be shown how to easily fit meditating into your normal daily life. You will not regret a minute of your time spent meditating.

I attended a meditation course a few months ago led by Michael in London and it was truly life changing. Michael was a wonderful teacher, leading us through the practice with clear instructions and a playful sense of humour. He took time to make sure he answered everyone’s questions with warmth, care and patience. The course had a very relaxed and practical feel to it. I had previously tried meditating using different apps but it felt hard and I struggled to make it a habit. Now I am now meditating regularly for 20 minutes twice a day without question and genuinely enjoying it. I noticed benefits within the first few days, I felt more present than I've ever felt before, less anxious, more productive and that I had more energy and clarity. These changes have had an impact on all areas of my life. I only wish I had found the London Meditation Centre sooner!
