Reception staff very rude and arrogant bordering on bullying. People are stressed enough with managing their illness when contacting the surgery they really don’t need more stress dealing with unprofessional and uncaring staff that can’t be asked to do their jobs.

Have filled out the E consult form twice for an appointment and never heard back (it’s been over 2 months). When you call you can’t get through (all due to staffing issues). I can’t afford to go private so what should I do?

Receptionist are rude and keep putting the phone down on me. Medication keeps being changed without a discussion with myself or the mental health team. I have to request medication weekly but every week there’s a new problem. Causing distress.

The access to this surgery is a joke. You can no longer book an appointment, and have to chance your luck waiting on the phone to only speak to an unqualified receptionist, oh sorry a “Trained care navigator!?! 😳🤣🤣” Prescribed prescriptions are wrong. They try to blame the chemist, but can only photocopy letters sent to them and ask their manager?! I’m not sure if they are aware they are NOT yet a private practice, and are in fact employed by their patients who contribute towards the NHS!! Perhaps this is a trend to push the surgeries that way, but London Lane is trying to lead the way. Unless qualified, receptionists have no business giving advice or even having access to people’s personal records. Absolutely useless, you would fare better for your blood pressure to not bother.

This place is shocking. Do the e-consult, get assigned a random day for a phone appt with no time slot. They call when I’m out with bad signal and rather than try again later, they simply say I need to book another appt. In what world is this an acceptable way to run a doctor surgery.
