I had my sight tested here and I have been having huge difficulty since having the new prescription fitted three weeks ago. I've been left unable to see in the middle distance and they won't check that the prescription is correct without charging me for another test. The optician is nice, but the man at front-of-house is extremely abrasive, unhelpful and unsympathetic. I would recommend people look elsewhere for eye tests. UPDATE - I went to another opticians who have confirmed that the prescription the London Eye Care Centre issued me was 0.5 diopter too strong in one eye. No wonder I was suffering from fatigue and headaches. I am now left with only sunglasses whilst another opticians replace the lenses in my spectacles for me. I appreciate that mistakes happen to anyone, but it is the London Eye Care Centre's unwillingness to help rectify a fault which has irked me the most. Absolutely no after-sale care. A very stressful and unsatisfactory experience overall.
