I've just completed the process of donating eggs. I was pleased overall with good communication between myself, LEB team and the clinic. The nurses were nice and I felt like I was given all the information and plan of action clearly and so I could understand it. I would recommend this service for anyone wanting to donate their eggs. I also liked the counselling that is available with the service to help with your decision making and well-being. I wish you could be compensated more money as it is a precious thing (and travel does add up) but I know legislation seems to have a cap and this is understandable. The clinic are also generous at refunding the cost of supplements relevant to the process of donating (Vit D and Folic Acid) which was helpful. There are a lot of scans and hormones etc to have and it can seem overwhelming at times but it was a positive experience with LEB to feel like I was able to access support should I need it.

My decision to become a donor was taken 7 years ago but due to low flexibility at work I have to put that aside. Now that I’m more flexible was great opportunity for donation. I’ve seen my friends and family struggling with conceiving, although I can’t fully understand why healthy and fit person might have fertility issues, it’s just happening everyday, everywhere and we just have to accept that. The whole process started for me before Covid-19 and due to that I have to pause. But now as I went back, I was treated like someone special. All my questions was answered, worries solved and on top of that the counselling is available at any point during the process. My personal experience was very positive in both clinics (London Bridge branch and London Woman’s Clinic at Harley Street) staff were very kind and supportive. But as for cab, no one has offered me that which would be the cherry on top 🍒. Thank you for everything and looking forward to my next donation in near future 😊

I’ve never wanted my own children and my period is more of an inconvenience than anything. It felt wrong that I take for granted something so many women would die for. I decided to be an egg donor and I’m so thrilled I did. The whole process has been amazing. Everyone I dealt with has been wonderful and informative. I had my retrieval today and it felt really special to see other people in the waiting room and thinking that my eggs might help them to start a family. There’s nothing quite like it. I feel fantastic and I hope my small contribution will bring someone else the same joy I feel right now. I cannot wait to find out if any of my eggs were successful and I absolutely will be signing up to donate again

The staff at london egg bank put you at ease and comfort from the moment you walk in. Friendly faces on the reception with easy chat. To easy day to day catch ups with the nurses whilst they assure you of the progress, procedures and help you with any difficulties you face. They knew my name, my partner, as i struggled to do my own injections, and worked around us, our work commitments and my fears (of needles). When i did feel unwell, they called me and booked me in to be seen. They reassured me from the moment treatment started. What could be an intimidating and personal affair of the monitoring of eggs due to the intimate nature of the check ups is in reality nothing but a chat with an internal ultrasound. The removal process was equally professional, clean and caring. With the staff showing you respect and dignity, with biscuits at the end. London egg bank have managed to create the perfect environment, due to their staff, to make the process as seemless and comfortable as possible.

Recently donated my eggs and i was surprised by how lovely it was. I got to know a lot more about my reproductive health and became more in tune with myself. The experience with London Egg Bank was lovely from start to finish, and I’m certain I will be donating again in the future. Everyone at both clinics, London Egg Bank & LWC Harley Street were so friendly and caring throughout the whole experience, from Dominika to the sonographers, to the fertility nurses and the ladies at reception & the counselor. Thank You all!

It’s a lengthy but very rewarding process, do prepare your body to receive lots of hormones which can make you very tired. Overall, the nurses/doctors were always nice and kind and very caring, if this is something you want to do I would recommend 100% :)

I found London Egg Bank through the recommendation of a friend and it was by far the best clinical experience I’ve ever had. Throughout communication was honest and responsible, they gave me clear advice without pressure or ‘scare stories’ and allowed me to make a decision about my fertility that felt right to me. The egg freezing process itself was surprisingly hassle-free, I was nervous after hearing some horrible stories from friends about the collection but it was genuinely a breeze and I felt back to normal by the same afternoon. I was well-looked after throughout and the medication and care given minimised any discomfort. I felt really safe and cared for from beginning to end. My only regret is that I didn’t start thinking about my fertility and contact LEB earlier. Highly recommended.

Going into this I honestly assumed I would be harvested for my eggs then leave without any care. I couldn’t be any more wrong! I had my own care coordinator (thank you Frida) who virtually held my hand through the entire process, we had lengthy zoom/phone calls where she answered every question possible & even got me in touch with a counsellor to help me go through the implications of donating. After initial genetic tests & questioning I was scanned every 2/3 days after beginning the medication, a nurse would explain everything to me each time such as what the medication was doing and what we’re looking for on the scans When it came to donation day, I felt so looked after, chit chatting with nurses took the nervousness away & the doctor came in to explain the entire procedure and the potential dangers - thankfully everything went well and we got 16 eggs! I was on my way home after an hour I’m writing this 2 days after the procedure & I feel absolutely fine, I’d recommend any woman to donate if they’re able - the feeling I have knowing I could of helped people become parents has me smiling from ear to ear

I witnessed the struggle of some member of my family going through to have their own child for years. After seeing close people to me going through this hard process made me realise I wanted to provide support and help others families too. So after informing myself about the process I took the decision to do it. In the process of looking up information about donation, I ended up finding the London Egg Bank. I recently finished my first process of egg donation. Everyone was really nice and supportive, answering every question I had, taking care throughout the whole process and checking up on me on a regular basis to make sure everything was alright . Counselling is also a if you need to. It was a nice experience thanks to the support received from the whole team.
