I took my exam in Dec 2020 (LLCM) and have not received a certificate. Its been a few years now...Got a reply and the secretary said she would be looking into it. No reply. Would give 0 starts for customer service. Would I have to wait all my life like King Charles did for the crown???

Appalling customer service. Still waiting for months after the exam for the certificate!! Used their online contact form once to ask where on earth are the certificates - (no reply!) and then again to replay at the lack of response and utter disregard for the teachers who keep these guys in jobs! Again no reply! Will not enter any more pupils again and will stick with ABRSM who sent their certificates 6 days after the exam!!

Disgusting attitude to customer service. In fact, they literally have no customer services. I doubt they even consider customers important. My daughter online exam was cancelled in November with less than 10 days notice. They then took 4 months to provide an update and they still have not refunded the money, but have asked me to pay again to rebool it. I have sent repeated emails. All you get is an automated reply and then some BS answer or "we are working on a solution." Honestly, i would avoid at all costs, but unfortunatelyit seems i have no other option if I wish my child to have graded music exams 0 stars would be appropriate. What a joke

I am still waiting for results and certificates from SUMMER 2022 and Winter 2022 sessions! I have contacted and complained (phone calls and emails) numerous times to admin staff, manager and the director. They are all basically ignoring me at this stage. I spoke to the LCM secretary this afternoon she was fobbing me off and was being extremely rude.

Made a good experience with the electric guitar exams. Very kind examinators and I’m glad that someone can do this online.

Friendly and helpful staff in the office. However, the exam board makes money from running popular vocals exams but they don't treat them with respect, partly because they send examiners who are not specialists in pop music. Many of the examiners are open-minded and adapt but some have a clear elitist attitude and exude a dislike and a lack of understanding of pop music. Our most recent visit was our first since before the pandemic and the examiner was officious and unfriendly, creating an uncomfortable atmosphere and our students, many of whom were taking an exam or performing for the first time, had a bad experience. Some pulled out of a concert the following week because they were so scarred by the experience. One of our students took a pop vocals teaching diploma and she was failed for not using sheet music to teach the songs, even though this isn't how popular vocals teachers teach songs and nothing on the syllabus says they should teach this way. The examiner judged a pop vocals teaching exam as if it was a classical flute teaching exam. The new chief examiner is not interested in what we have to say about our experiences and we are not going to use LCM again.
