This is an excellent school, with committed and sparky staff (led by a brilliant Head, with bags of leadership experience at a top London prep), and a nurturing atmosphere in which the children thrive. The site is relatively small at present (with plans to expand), but that's to be expected given its central London location and affordable fee structure. That said, the school has cleverly carved out spaces for the children to play outdoors (and has an arrangement with the LA in relation to other play/sports spaces). The school culture fosters a collective spirit of kindness and collaboration in a meaningful and tangible way, and I would say the religious underpinning of the school manifests in the principles and values of the school (rather than through imposed dogma). That happy balance is evident in the mix of Christian and non-Christian families happily sending their children to the school. I've been nothing but impressed by our children's journey through this lovely school, which happens to also offer bang for your buck!

Brilliant school. Our son went to this school and we absolutely loved it. He was very happy, the ethos of the school are faith based and fantastic. He grew up to be a little gentleman. The head mistress is incredibly committed to building an inclusive, happy and overall kind environment. The teachers are nice, yet demanding but not overwhelming on the academic side. They teach very well and the children love it. Our son misses his school dearly. We wish they had a senior school so he could have stayed there.

I love this school, the teachers are the best. The only things I don't like are English and Maths. My favourite teacher is Miss Collett-White. - Bertie

London Christian School feels like a caring community of families and teachers, rather than a school! The smaller size means everyone knows everyone, yet newcomers are warmly welcomed. Whilst there is naturally a strong Christian ethos, different religions are respected and embraced. Our children are in Years 5 and 3, have both been at the school since the age of four, and come home every day tired but elated! The teaching is excellent; strong academics are balanced with sport, music, extra-curricular activity and individual pastoral support where needed. The location is fantastic for anyone living in the “inner south east” London area or working around London Bridge or the City. The only limitation of LCS is that due to the central location, sports fields are not on-site. But they make the best possible use of the rooftop playground and the nearby council park and astroturf, with the older children heading out to the local facilities daily for a run around. If we go into any further lockdowns during 2021, LCS can be trusted to continue to deliver a fantastic educational experience; ensuring no child gets left behind whilst being realistic about what is possible in a home-schooling environment. In the meantime, it has been clear to us that the teachers and children alike are very excited to be back at school and are making the most of the time they spend together - having fun and building friendships, learning and exploring, and feeling part of their special school community once again. We cannot recommend LCS highly enough!

London Christian School is a fantastic school. My kids (year 2 and Early Reception) have enjoyed every day at school and learnt a lot. The school has strong Christian values, yet respects other religions and beliefs. The approach is very personal, and I have seen how the teachers have worked with each of my kids to develop them and get the best each can offer. The communication with parents is great and constructive. The facilities are good for a central London school, and they make use of the nearby park to give the kids more space. The school has managed the Covid challenges very well, and managed to adjust to changing conditions quickly, considering kids, staff and parents in each of their decisions. This is very appreciated. A great school and community overall!

I think that all school playgrounds will be noisy. The noise of the playground should just show how much the kids are enjoying the school and their time. The PE teacher is really good and isn't screaming at the children but giving them instructions that have to be loud so the children can hear. The school is great, the teachers are so kind and actually care about the children's well being. I think the school is amazing and you should definitely send your children there as they will never want to leave.
