It is such a fun experience. Katie is a good and patient teacher. The class is very well prepared, and she is aware of the small details (such as providing nice cards and tags for you to try writing on, this is very satisfying and exciting for beginngers :) )!

I was astounded by the sheer professionalism of Katie and her entire team in planning such a fascinating, enjoyable and relaxing experience. I am a beginner in the losest term and can hardly hold the pen, but from the onset, we were all made to feel welcome and ready for the next two hours with the maestro that Katie is. Everyone in attendance appreciated her empathy, compassion and masterful coaching style. Her proactive, hands-on approach to sharing her experience and knowledge when the situation warranted was also lovely. Katie was able to widen the participation and cater for different levels of experiences present and tried to push them to do more within individuals' capacity so that we all had a self-fulfilling experience. Katie shared her hints and tips to reach expertise in delivering unique and meaningful outputs. Finally, we left with a calligraphy pack to continue our newfound adventure. If you are thinking about doing this course, do it, you will not regret it.

I was delighted to receive this calligraphy course as a gift. The session was as therapeutic as it was engaging, and Katie was an excellent teacher. I had never picked up a calligraphy pen before, but was writing whole words with flourishes by the end. The room was very grand, and Katie provided refreshments, which was lovely. After the course, we were allowed to keep the pen, nib, guidelines and workbook to practise our skills at home - I would be interested in joining the improvers course in future. Thank you to the team for such a splendid evening and for introducing me to a new hobby! My friends and family will be receiving hand-written correspondence from now on…
