If zero stars were an option I would have given them that. After being very quick to take on the job, London Borough Roofing have totally let me down. The work - repairing the guttering at the front of my property - wasn’t done properly (if they did anything at all) despite me paying a lot of money, and it leaked immediately the first time it rained. I was reassured that it was ‘under warranty’ even though no paper work was sent to me, and was told that James would be round to fix it. However, despite chasing James directly and via the company number the guttering was never repaired. They only answered the phone when I called from a different number, and wouldn’t return calls. I was repeatedly told James was on his way to mine to do the repair job but he didn’t show up and didn’t message me. I was told by Patrick in the office that I would get a refund of half my money for the inconvenience I’d experienced and that he would come and do the repairs himself. But I never heard from him, James or anyone at the company again. I have been chasing for weeks to get my money back and have had no response. I would not advise anyone to use London Borough Roofing for any services. I have seen that they have replied to another negative review saying that they have no record of the person - so flagging here that I have all the messages saved and recorded and would be happy to share them with London Borough Roofing again if they don’t recognise this chain of events. We used London Borough Roofing for a roof repair with a 5 year guarantee. The work completed was fine for 6 months but then it needed remedial works. James did come back and do the remedial work on the roof but has promised us constantly that he would look at and repair the damage done to the property and fix it as it was his work that created the damage. After several phone calls and several weeks james has consistently not done what he has said he would do and we are now having to pay for the repairs out of our own pocket. very disappointed. I had awful experience with this service. First of all, the price was ridiculously high. As a first time owner without great amount experience, I was persuaded by their fear focused tactic (I felt like they were shouting at me before I said yes) and paid 5 times higher price than it should be. I learned this only after I spoke to several colleagues and other roofers. Second of all, they didn’t do their job as it was promised. Side part of roof wasn’t done properly. Despite me asking ‘after’ photo in close up, I only got blurred pic. After they left I checked carefully and found existing crack not being covered. Lastly, they didn’t keep their promise. They left rubbish at my front porch. They never send me a receipt. Overall very poor management. I’ll never use their service again. And I urge others to avoid.

He assessed and priced the job quickly providing availability for the repair immediately, keeping me informed of the process. The repair has been completed, the site cleaned and made watertight, all at a reasonable price. Would recommend this company for for their professionalism, honesty and expertise.
