    The best online store for your parrot, all of my orders have been despatched and delivered quickly, Anguel the owner is a great guy he rung me on 2 occasions to help with problems with my kakariki, I highly recommend using parrot essentials

    Good selection and good prices, however customer service and the speed and requests solving just nightmare. I returned the items directly to warehouse and received piece of paper as a proof of delivery by Chris and signed by Ben who is not working on Fridays. Also I received phone call and email from Anguel ensuring me that I will get refund back following week. After over a week waiting, I decided to send follow up email on my refund and guess what, Anguel responded to me that refund was issued few days ago… I have to contact PayPal to resolve this issue as Parrots essentials is not helpful at all. Threatening me that if I send another email to them it will go straight away into their spam. Please avoid, not worth it for the hassle of few pounds cheaper items. This is the “HONEST” response from owner himself: ​Either way you will receive your refund because it was issued and PayPal eventually will get to the bottom of this. If you need my help please go and delete the 1 star review which is not true at all and close the case. Once the case is closed I can call and ask them to action the refund.

It was your choice to make a claim instead of speaking to me first, and as I said to you in my previous email, we cannot do anything but wait for their investigation. I also tried to contact you a couple of times to resolve the issue, but you ignored my phone calls and emails. Instead, you decided to leave a 1-star review and tell everyone that our company is not worth your time. ​ 1. You were refunded, and it can take up to 5 working days for the refund to appear. Please see screenshot number 1 2. Second, you claimed the wrong amount with PayPal, which complicates things even further. You asked for more money than you paid. Obviously, that is not possible. You used a discount code, and although it is only for £1, the discount is spread across all products. Now Paypal is investigating why the amount you paid and the amount you claimed do not match. 3. It is not true. I responded to PayPal the very same day you opened the case and told them that you were refunded. See screenshot 2. Again you are accusing us of not doing our job without knowing the facts. You were refunded. When you had a problem, we tried to help you the same day, but you chose to open a claim and to ignore our emails and phone calls. 4. Also, you have put on your email that the products are not as described. PayPal will be checking that information too. The products are as described because I had to provide images. You did not want them. 5. According to the case history PayPal is awaiting more information from you. ​ Basically, what I am saying to you is that all of this could have been resolved the same day you contacted PayPal if you didn't open a case claiming that the products are not as described and making a claim for the wrong amount. ​ As I said you were refunded, and I am not sure why PayPal did not send you the money back. If you didn't open the case, I could have called them and asked them to trace the payment and make sure it is processed. Once you have a case open, I am no longer able to call about this payment, and all I can do is answer any questions they submit via the case. Petra, this is very frustrating for us because you have made a number of claims that are simply not true and not only that but I have had to submit a huge number of documents just to prove that you were refunded. ​Either way you will receive your refund because it was issued and PayPal eventually will get to the bottom of this. If you need my help please go and delete the 1 star review which is not true at all and close the case. Once the case is closed I can call and ask them to action the refund. Kind regards, Anguel

    I really do not recommend this company the delivery service is appalling and the after service just as bad. I sent an email they claim was not received then said my parcel delivery was attempted twice - it wasn't and then expected me to go and pick up the parcel where it had been dumped in a different town to where I live. Fair enough if they left it in the same town, but this was ridiculous. When you do finally speak to someone they do all they can to further inconvenience you. I ordered from Scarletts and Northern parrots the same day and both those parcels arrived the next day without issue. I would definitely pay a bit more to get better service elsewhere.

    I bought loads of stuff for my African greys they were brilliant the Service was excellent I was dealt with by Ben he was such a lovely guy he went way above and beyond in helping me resolve all my issues I had. I am very happy with my order and the guy that was helping Ben on the day iv forgotten his name , I have been shopping with these guys for years this first time I’m leaving review after receiving such good service
