I have 5 years ballet classes experience this is the worst I’ve ever had. Music: the instructor plays really generic jazz café music from her phone which is nothing to do with classical ballet. And she said she can’t afford a pianist which is ridiculous. She charged even more than a teacher from Royal ballet. The counts and the music didn’t match. Instructions: not clear at all. A lot of irrelevant talking were in the class. With key/ harder routines she explained only little. The instructor took videos in the class which irritates me, a good instructor never do that, but obviously this follows the social media trend. The instructor barely demonstrated The course is about variations, but barre training took more than an hour in a 1.5 hour training. The barre training didn’t follow the classical ballet sequence. And some of the excises she wasted time on was not relevant to the centre works. During the class, the instructor concerned about her hair style and if she took the videos. Conclusion: there are so many classes out there in London. This one is not helpful for developing your ballet techniques at all.

It all started with me booking an in person workshop just before the pandemic which was then sadly cancelled - but what can I say, I did not miss out because London Ballet made the workshop virtual, and it was excellent! She watched each of us to ensure we received detailed, individual corrections, the information and schedule was so immensely well planned and thought through, and I really felt I had grown as a dancer following the workshop. I have since taken more online classes, but am planning to attend an in person event in the future (I do not live in London or I would be a regular attendee of the regular classes, for sure! ) Thank you so much for all you do! I've tried various ballet classes on and off in the past and LBC is, by far, the best. The teachers are warm and attentive and there's always a great atmosphere in the class. I particularly like the 1.5 hours classes where you have time to cover all barre exercises and still have time to test your skills in the centre floorworks. The Sunday classes also teach a different variation every 4 weeks to give amateur dancer like me a chance to learn different well known classical ballets which is both challenging and tonnes of fun! Come and try it for yourself and I'm sure you'll have a great time!

Highly recommend the adult ballet school, the teacher is very knowledgeable and classes are focused on technique and musicality from beginners to intermediate dancers. Studio is spacious and 1.5hr classes have enough time to warm up, have ballet class and learn different repertoire each month.

LBC helped me heal my relationship with ballet, and I will be forever grateful to LBC for it. I started dancing when I was very young and took it very seriously in my teens, but I had a bad falling out with it and stopped dancing for five years. I never thought I would dance again until I attended classes at LBC - Gee, Julia and Giovanna taught me that ballet doesn't have to be stressful and challenging and can be extremely enjoyable. The quality of teaching is top-notch; I learn something new in every class. I also love that you're able to learn variations and perform them as well - it provides an excellent opportunity to showcase our work and support one another. Everyone that attends classes is also super friendly, inclusive and supportive, which is one of the main reasons I look forward to attending classes every week. I found the 'joy' in dancing ballet again, thanks to LBC, so I'd highly encourage anyone looking to start dancing or get back into dancing to attend classes here.

I moved from the US and started beginners ballet class at LBC every Sunday. It’s such an amazing Sunday wind down activity. Highly recommend this class to everyone , in fact I often bring my friends . One time I brought 8 friends and they all had a blast
