I did the 3-day mixing/mastering crash course. I learned a lot of fantastic workflow tips and a lot of general common sense things that seem obvious when you think back. My tutor explained the idea of phase, buffer size and other fundamentals in a clear and concise way. He also showed me some fantastic Logic Pro working techniques to get the most out of the DAW and to be able to replicate some of what you can do on Pro Tools with plenty of hacks and tips. I loved his philosophies on music and his offering of how some people do things, and how he would do things differently. I appreciated that he wasn't steering me in any one direction and telling me there was one clear path and that I'd be an idiot for deviating. He explained everything, including rules of thumb and different methods for doing different things and that not all of them are necessarily "wrong", just a different approach. I really appreciated the gentle approach to teaching that my tutor possesses, and his patience and demeanour when handling pupils.

I wish I had done this years earlier. As someone who has no musical background I thought I would really struggle, but found with Toms guidance I was able to start making my own beats and melodies quite quickly, which was very rewarding. Tom was a fantastic tutor and Trystan the owner allowed me to customise the course to my own taste. This has been one of the most rewarding things I’ve ever done and am very thankful to everyone invited at londonamp.

Personal online tuition as an introduction to using Logic Pro X: comprehensive and detailed coaching from a very talented and enthusiastic tutor who tailored the course to exactly what I needed and gave a lot of added value with shortcuts and tips that you would never discover trying to teach yourself. I enrolled for the sound engineering 6 month diploma and before I had even finished the course I had already started working in live and studio sound. The school offers you invaluable hands on experience with consoles and lets you practice on the premises.strongly recommend if you wanna get your foot in the door of the music business.
