LAE is an amazing school which has helped me to grow and nurture my independence and academic ability. The teachers are very approachable, passionate about their subjects and are always willing to work with you whenever you are struggling. It is evident that LAE always wants the best for its students, because there are so many opportunities for us to explore further interests, whether that be via work experience or lectures. I would highly recommend attending this school.

I was considering this school for my child but was shocked to hear the students' voices. Their time at school and what they experienced seemed very rough and appalling. I believe students, our future, should not go through such an experience, targeting their faith, race, culture and personal attributes. Local authorities and regulatory bodies should not ignore these comments and to be taken seriously.

Ok Ok
Although, I'm not an A* student, or even a straight A student, during my entire Year 12 year, I only achieved one A, (an a3 during my Half Term Assessment) - I don't credit my under performance to the college at all. During Year 12, I've received immense support - support that reached out to me when I would have never thought to contact them. At the moment I have B, B, C in my end of years, which hopefully puts me at A, A, B for UCAS. If it wasn't for the staff at LAE I would have felt like a massive letdown at this point. It would be exhaustive to list all the benefits this school has to offer but I would say that... If you are already a student who has excelled at in GCSE's unless you enter the school with a mindset that will deliver you desirable grades through raw hard work, you will most likely struggle a lot. EPQ may seem overwhelming for the majority of Year 12, but teachers are always on-hand to read over what you've written and what not. Outreach is a bit BS and so is pathways. With the recent islamophobia allegations, if that results in less people applying to what is already a competitive sixth-form, more power to you. They don't hold up at all.

Islamophobic school. If you’re Muslim, you’re better off at Brampton or NCS. LAE is not worth sacrificing your deen. The teachers don’t know how to educate either, classic favouritism system which leads C grade students to get A predicted grades, and B grade students to get a B predicted given teacher’s favouritism practice. Many of my mates left after year 12 and they’ve done well for themselves. Have some standard guys. LAE is not it. The good results from this school aren’t because of the teaching (teachers do not require teaching qualifications to teach here). It is because they admit us smart individuals who have gotten straight A* to A grades across all GCSEs. This school has been admitting less and less Muslims as a result of us fighting for a prayer space anyways so. The governors, SLT including the Headteacher disgust me truly. Shame on you guys. You’re meant to be educators.

Shame on you! Disgusting how you have treated students and someone dear to me. You filthy, low, inhumane Islamophobic institute. We will NOT stand for this! Muslim Students will still be in your sixth form. We are not going anywhere! (the irony, aren't you supposed to be an educator?) Do what you get paid to do, YOUR JOB. But you cannot even do that? Are you that sickening and dumb, you cannot even carry out your job, go where you belong in the EDL shame on you! Your sixth form is situated in EAST LONDON, full of Muslims!

Disgusting, the staff, governing body and everyone who works for them. Islamaphobia is known to take place in this institution, do not study here even if you aren’t Muslim. Unfortunately, there is no option but to give you 1 star on here I would give you none!
