I’m so surprised at some of the negative reviews! My experience was incredible. There are signs all over the walls indicating where to go to find your classroom so it isn’t difficult at all. The reception staff were simple but not disrespectful at all. And the instructor was incredible. We stayed for two classes and I will definitely be returning with my friends again. Lorena instructed my class today and from the basics of leading to the steps and applied to a routine she really is thorough. Even the other attendees were lovely. Definitely try it out!

I am a regular at the London Academy of dance (salsa/bachata partner work & styling classes) and have taken classes in multiple locations with Lorena, Stefan and others. They are always professional & make the classes fun! Most classes and attendance expanded so much that the instructor (Lorena) had to split into beginners/advanced sessions very quickly. It’s great to see the crowd expanding & everyone improving every week :)

I had a bad experience coming to this place. Door man reception is super rude, and disrespectful to women. Force you to wait near the smelly toilet corner area. Difficult to find the class room, it’s in a basement, not good ventilation, teacher seems nice but this place reception doesn’t make people feel welcoming.

I’ve been trying for two weeks to schedule a lesson for today at London Academy of Dance. I’m visiting from the U.S. and wanted to establish a pro-am ballroom dance relationship with an instructor for when I’m often in London. The phone number on the website has been disconnected, emails and WhatsApp messages go ignored (except one that told me to schedule online), and after paying online I cannot schedule and haven’t heard back from them after taking my money. I had hoped to speak with a human to schedule a double lesson for today as part of a package with a professional today before I leave. Next time I’ll go with a more reputable school that wants international student competitors.
