AVOID: I had a terrible experience with Simon who ignored my emails for a week leading to my inability to obtain my dream home and lose out to another buyer. After approaching another advisor I found out that it was possible with my circumstances. My hopes were built up as I was told to make an offer. These advisors seem only interested if their job is easy and they are able to secure their fee stress free.

Fantastic Service - Well worth it! As a first time buyer, I am so glad I used Lomond Mortgages. Emma Losty was so knowledgeable and professional, she was able to answer all of our questions and I really felt she was conducting all business with our best interests in mind. She was incredibly responsive for every question I had, even able to provide documentation in hours when we were making offers on properties. I was reluctant at first to use a broker to find our mortgage, but this was 100% worth the (low) cost - Emma not only found us a great deal, but was open and honest about all our options, handled all our paperwork and application, and completely took the stress out of that part of the process. I will not hesitate to get back in touch with Emma when the time comes to renew, although I'm sure as part of the customer service Emma will be in touch with me first!
