Such an incredibly beautiful, serene location. Highlights include watching the changing colours as the day unfolds over the lake, having a BBQ on our log cabin deck, rowing silently out on our boat to watch the sunset, eating marshmallows around our firepit, gently swinging on our private seat overlooking the lake. This is the best holiday location I have ever visited in England! It is, quite simply, superb.

We have just returned from a long weekend in the smallest cabin. Immediately booked again for next year. Stunning views and a luxury cabin, so many little details made this such a special stay. Blankets to use outside, a pair of binoculars, marshmallow and shortbread.i could go on and on. It is not cheap, if fact it is the most we have ever paid for a short break but you definitely get value for money.
